im definitely surprised this isnt at a higher number maybe they should have come out of the gate with both Ultimates and the Ringskirts as well as the rest I do think the ring skirts are an extremely weak top tier reward. That level is meant to be a reach goal so it should be something REALLY enticing like the classic blue cage or maybe the original KOTR throne with crown/cape/scepter. Absolutely gutted that this Doink won't see the light of day. Fingers crossed for a huge wave of last minute backers |

I love this crowdfunding Idea but the $250 price tag is way too much to ask in my opinion. It isn't easy to drop $250 on something that you aren't even going to see for at least a year and they drop it at the same exact time that they dropped a whole bunch of other pre-orders (If you can find them). There are a lot of people that don't have like 300-400 just laying around to drop on figures in one week.
What they should have done is just do Diesel and the entrance stage for $100 and then if they reach the goal for that, add the ring for another $100 and if that goal is reached, do Doink for another 30 and then ring skirts for another $20. Just do several separate items getting funded under one umbrella instead of one giant price tag that people are too scared to tie up.

Jarrett isnβt under contract and yet βit should have been Jarrettβ three times a day. True but it definitely shouldnβt have been Diesel. What a great time to re-release Bret Hart in his defining moments look and Royal Rumble 97 HBK as Ultimates. Yes those are the tail end of the New Generation but would be figures people would jump on!!!! |

Just saw someone on Instagram post a screenshot of an email that said βyour order was canceled because of unforeseen circumstances and your payment has been refunded.β
The person didnβt understand why. Did anyone else get something similar?

I donβt like the scare tactic of them going βthereβs a lot of cool stuff in the pipeline but youβll never see em if you donβt fund this.β I donβt want this and I donβt wanna pay $250 just to maybe have the opportunity to get something more to my liking next time. I bought 2. I love everything about it. The ring the entrance the figures the skirts. But I agree I donβt like this paternal punitive tone MDT is prone to. That take their ball and go home mentality. |

Was anyone else disappointed to learn the dimensions of the ring are 21.4 x 21.4?
I donβt think it wouldβve made a difference in terms of support for the project as a whole, but I was really hoping for something in the 18-20 range.
The super large rings like WCT eat up so much space and never truly look authentic to the scale of the figures.

I wonder if two debut figures get this going a bit more. Maybe 3-4 elites instead of 2 ultimates? I just donβt think it has the casual collectors attention. Not many people know about Mattel creations or these online sites. I talked to one casual collector the other day who had no idea about it. It should have been advertised on elite boxes or have a little flyer in the packages.
