Mattel will never release the same doink or Diesel but will release ultimate versions of both within the year or so. The ring is already being rereleased. If someone bought these for profit, it's not the best investment. Why not? Because so many people did the exact same thing. . " I'll buy 2 and make all my money back" is a flawed concept when so many others did the exact same thing. Yea, If you have room to store these things for a while, go for it but when collectors see doink ultimate in a target store and can get a version of the ring from Mattel site, and Nash has upcoming ultimate to march Hall.... The wait might backfire.

Mattel knows it’s dead so they might not even bother trying with a new crowd fund.

The wait might backfire. No. It was clear from the start that the ring would be re-released. Steve even confirmed it. Nobody bought it because of the ring, but because of three exclusive figures and the exclusive stage. Steve said it's all exclusive to the backers. He also said that the figures will not be re-released. He also confirmed that the Doink will never return as an Ultimate Edition. Not even in outfits. And also the Macho Man will never return in that outfit again. I understand the uncertainty about all the re-releases, but the New Gen set + the figures will never be seen again in this form.

Just because Steve said it means nothing. Steve also told us that Jeff Jarrett was getting an UE figure released and we see how that went. I guarantee you if Doink starts selling for $200+ on the Bay he will be rereleased in the new UE greatest hits line.

Stop saying “Nobody bought it for the ring, they bought it for the figures.” You don’t speak for everybody. I literally got in on the project specifically for the ring and entrance and didn’t give a crap about the figures. The presumption of people that go, “Well, this is my thought on the matter and a handful of people I spoke to, so this is reality,” is incredibly annoying. You do not speak for everyone. Your perception is not always the reality of everybody’s situation. Stop treating your opinions as fact. YOU only cared about the figures.
And furthermore, the ring has NOT been rereleased. The molds have been reused for a completely different ring. The only thing that is the same are the wooden boards. That’s like saying the first CM Punk elite is the same as the last CM Punk elite. Different eras, different rings.

In our hands for six months and some of you guys are still in here b****ing about the eBay price.
Just hug it out with your LED entrance stage and settle down.

I think some folks here need to chill. This is how these things start. First, you get a pop from the initial people who missed out.. Then things settle down a bit for a while and later things pick up again over time. Then, you'll have people crying about how unfair it was to get this set and how expensive they are. I bought one set and I stored it away. I plan to sell it when I need some extra cash. If you really want this set, just get it now that it's at a decent price. For me personally, there aren't any figures that I'm willing to spend double or triple the amount for. I do what I can.

I mainly got it for the ring and entrance

Anyone know how to remove the feet on the back of the entrance stage? Seems like once they’re in, they’re in permanently. Not good for repacking the Arena away for transport!

Doink will 100% get a new Ultimate somehow someway eventually in a different attire, probably several years from now, there’s no point in limiting themselves to never making him again just so some nerds don’t complain. They spent money on those new parts. Diesel was plain af, that figure never getting released again is no real loss, he’ll get another figure in better gear and hopefully with better head sculpts Savage won’t be made in that gear again and that’s fine, he’s got so many other ones to do The stage is obviously going to be exclusive and so will some of the ring skirts

Is it possible to remove the turnbuckle pads and change the ropes?
Wondering if there's a way to open the pin/stud combo on the pads.

Is it possible to remove the turnbuckle pads and change the ropes? Wondering if there's a way to open the pin/stud combo on the pads. From what I understand, the turnbuckle covers have holes that slip over the studs. I’ve seen people comment that some of their turnbuckle pads weren’t fastened out of the box and they had to do it themselves. They also said it was a pain to do it. If you’re going to change ropes, don’t make them too tight. Some people have had their posts snap just from the ropes that came with the ring. I make sure that all 4 sides have equal slack so the force is being applied to all 4 posts as equally as possible and I’ve been fortunate so far.

Wonder what happend to that guy who ordered 30 of them I'm outside of the US market. The US market is not relevant for me. I can sell duty-free throughout the EU, I have cheap shipping rates. I have not yet sold any of the 30 sets (not even tried) but with the achievable EU market prices it is already very lucrative. Things are different for US resellers. Probably very unlucrative at the moment. Despite everything, a toy is not an investment. I wanted to support the project. Is the market price really lucrative, today, in Europe? I mean, I live in Ireland, one of the most expensive EU countries, and there are currently three of these arenas sitting for sale at reasonable prices (€350 - about $375, but you have to keep in mind that if we were to have bought it new, we'd have been hit with VAT, Customs fees, etc.) and they've been sitting for weeks on end.
I don't think there's much of a market outside the US for these, if I'm honest. There are die-hard collectors everywhere, of course, but the finances don't add up for re-selling throughout Europe, for the most part, from what I can see. I've bought lots of figures (US exclusives) on the secondary market in Ireland for a pittance compared to the US Ebay asking prices.

I still never assembled the ring since it arrived. Ive taken Doink and Diesel out of the box since it’s already opened , but didn’t do much besides pose them/ check them for QC, Macho still sealed. My favorite part by far is the Stage itself
Does anyone know if there’s a list of entrances the different light patterns are based off of ? They could just be random patterns but I Have a feeling they are all based off of classic WWF themes and entrances from the New Gen era

Now the new crowdfund is confirmed as WCW, will be interesting to see if there are more WWF guys who didn’t pick up the new gen set yet who will now be pulling the trigger on the secondary market, potentially spiking interest and prices?
I would suspect some were maybe waiting to see what this years crowdfund was before deciding where their money is going and those who aren’t particularly big WCW guys like myself will have had their minds made up.

You literally have to unscrew the bottom enough to remove the back to reveal the hooks to the feet. I did this to one after realizing it clearly said in the instructions that it's a one-time installation. I took a screwdriver to the hooks to remove the feet, which was a PITA. Never installed the feet again.
