Didn’t Steamboat wear the red attire, white attire, and dragon attire in WCW? Plus they did have WCW specific in the Fan Takeover poll but people wanted the WM3 attire for the 4th time. Have the fan votes ever an attire that either wasn't made before or collectors wanted? That's like saying no one would buy camo Cole to complete the set because he was offered didn't win the poll. The fact that the only Warrior elite made twice already gets to triple dip as an ultimate over neon green shows how people who vote don't even follow or buy the figures. I think he did at some point. But, at least to my mind, the green tights with green boots is what I think of for late 80's NWA Steamboat, and the airbrushed tights from his mid 90's run. The fan polls are pretty worthless, imo, since the majority of votes are from twitter that skews the voting. The majority of people voting will never buy the figure regardless of what attire gets made. |

The RA era is kind of wonky. The guys they can make, they already have mostly.
Then there's a bunch that were popular, but they don't have access to (Angle, Steiner, Test, Jericho).
Then there's a ton of lower card guys, that are quite frankly, not memorable and would peg at retail, and Mattel knows that.

Steamboat use to wear parts of the dragon attire in WCW. I think at Bash at the Beach 94 he wears the chest piece and the wings but not the head piece. |

All the damn vampires. I mean U.S.A. attires. All the damn U.S.A. attires. I hate one-off super special attires in general. I know I’m in the minority. I just prefer generic attires that look like you’d see on Raw or Smackdown. That’s more representative of the wrestler for me. The one-off attires feel too specific to a certain event. I would much rather have the black Monday Night Messiah Seth than pink/purple Seth. I’d rather have a normal Rey Mysterio attire than Flash Rey.
But the U.S.A. attires are especially egregious to me. Nobody wears attires like that outside of July unless it’s their gimmick. But I get that they’re highly collectible. And yet they seem to rot more than others. I think the U.S. Macho warmed harder than even Ultimate Maniac Macho. So I can’t be alone in preferring normal attires.

Tozawa and Rawley were their only Elites if I’m not mistaken so those are fine. Christian got us our first modern Christian since like 2013 and the last we are getting. |

Every time one comes out it's hugely sought after, so I just don't get why they don't try to find more ways to work them in.

The most disappointing thing about Mattel for me is no good Kurt Angle figures. He is one of my all time faves, and there isn't a single Mattel figure of his that I'm proud to display. They are all 4/10...but hell yeah bring on the 87th Ultimate Warrior figure. i always wanted an angle in trunks w/ a cloth singlet so he can pull down the straps |

He did wear the white and red attires in WCW, but the releases seem to be clearly from WWF, though they could work for WCW. I was mainly talking about his 1991-1994 run, a lot of great attires there they could do but haven't. I did vote for the WCW attire in the fan pole but too bad the WM3 attire won. And the DM Dragon attire wasn't worn in WCW, he did wear a similar attire but not exact.  |

Mega Powers is a glaring omission, silver from his match with Zeus, and I think I remember lime green with no stars. But I can't remember any others that haven't been made. Yeah unless your gimmick is “AMERICA!” or it’s GAB Sting, don’t need all the USA crap. Way would rather have gotten New Day in their Christmas attire.
Oddly, Kurt could have many more America attires.
