Uh… I think you need to look again because every picture I’m looking at of the real Bret Hart is showing the Hitman logo pretty much spot-on to where it is on the figures. Are you going by memory or did you actually Google the guy first? His singlet top only covers his belly. I don’t know how his logo can be above his chest. Like it’s tattooed on his neck? I don’t understand what your complaint is because what you’re saying and what I’m looking at are contradictory.

Which attire are you specifically speaking about? Bret's logo changed in size and location throughout his career.

Alright, I see what you’re saying. I can see now how it would bother you. My rebuttal is the WCW Bret figure has the logo higher and the wings painted on the upper torso piece and it looks terrible compared to the older elites.

It just seems like an easy fix. Basic to make. They shouldn't do Bret Hart elites if they can't nail it. This finished product to me says "this was a real struggle to make for us and this is our finished product, $26 please"

The picture you posted of him in his gear has the logo clearly below his chest. Yes but look at his elite, the wing/skull is significantly dropped all the way to his belly button. It looks like he picked out too large attire for him. The skull/wing icon is too near to his tights. In his real attire there is much more hot pink on his singlet, there is space in between his icon and his tights. In his elite there is no space in between the skull/wing icon and the tights. How could they not notice that? Also they used too much of the black dripping colour before the skull/wings icon. In his real attire they use less of the black dripping effect. |

The problem with Bret elites are that none of the faces look like him and that Mattel forgot his hair isn’t black, it’s brown. At least the pink RSC fit got his hair right. Face is still way off though.

Face is still way off though. His hair looks black when it’s wet. Look at the promo pictures of him and look at the hair that isn’t shining in the light. It looks black. As a fellow brown-hair, my hair looks closer to black than brown when wet. I don’t think Mattel has a color subtle enough to collr Bret’s hair properly. So we get either black or the brown hair of the Michael Cole BAF Bret Hart and that would look terrible. |

We act like crackheads sometimes with these figures. If you don’t need it or like it or want it, don’t buy it. Such small things aren’t going to be enough for most people to even notice or not buy. But it’s like we convince ourselves “I’m not going to buy this because it’s wrong, BUT I STILL WANT IT SO MAKE IT RIGHT.” I hated when USA Sting was shown with laced boots. Didn’t buy it. They fixed it. Can’t keep buying crap and expect them to change anything, but muh FOMO and those evil scalpers

The flames are "too deep" on his chest and need to be moved up some. That would free up space to move the skull & wings up between the articulation of the ab crunch

I’m guessing/thinking it’s lower because if they put it higher up then it would be split and not aligned when the ab crunch is moved. The would rather it be lower and not split between an articulation point.
