This is severe nitpicking, which I do at times, but I'd rather it be a little lower than separated at the ab crunch. People are crapping on this figure (specifically the head), but I think it looks great.

If your problem with this figure is the placement of his logo on the torso then you really should consider giving up collecting. How’d you make it past his head/face?! This Bret and Ultimate Edition Taker are so bad, first figures I think I’ll actually pass on, which would be a first for me as a flashback/legends guy and two of my all time fav wrestlers, absolutely sucks but I just couldn’t look at them on display, dreadful. Usually Bret’s at least get saved as they are passable with glasses on, even the (black?!?!?) glasses can’t save this one. Well the bad face scan goes without saying. This and the Christian face scan from elite 76 are awful. It's like they put Christian 2020 face scan on brood Christian. Huh?! That Christian scan is perfect. |

Yes but look at his elite, the wing/skull is significantly dropped all the way to his belly button. It looks like he picked out too large attire for him. The skull/wing icon is too near to his tights. In his real attire there is much more hot pink on his singlet, there is space in between his icon and his tights. In his elite there is no space in between the skull/wing icon and the tights. How could they not notice that? Also they used too much of the black dripping colour before the skull/wings icon. In his real attire they use less of the black dripping effect. ...with respect, all of this seems like nitpicking to me(?). For a $20-$25 figure, it's pretty good... the main problem is the scan/likeness more than anything. |

I would genuinely love to know at what stage do Mattel look at a prototype or even the stages before and say ‘yep, we’ve nailed that scan, let’s get it out there!’ - how many bad attempts at this Bret did they look at before giving the green light on this one because they ran out of time?
Nobody can convince me, fans of Bret working at Mattel have looked at that and thought it’s not terrible. Obviously they wouldn’t say publicly but fascinated as to how stuff like this and the new Undertaker UE head is looked at by true fans in control and given the thumbs up.

The logo is not something I’d ever notice.
The head is meh at best.
The torso on the wcw Bret with goldberg being a completely different color to his arms is why I’m not pre ordering this one. I’ll wait to see how it looks for others. I’m not desperate for a 10th Bret.

The headscans are why I yet to have a Mattel Bret in my collection. Same here. I loved Bret back in the day. I have the hart foundation but no solo brets. I just don't think they have nailed him yet. Something about the likeness and hair always looks wrong. The body type never looks right either. |

If they moved it up, it would be in the ab crunch and you still would have complained that the image didn't line up when the abs are moved. It's just complaining to complain. |

I don't mind the figure at all but I do not like the headscan. It seems like they still haven't got Bret's likeness down. Every elite figure besides that 2-pack with Goldberg has been really cool. I don't remember if we decided that the salmon color was correct or not for that era but I still hated it.
But his Defining Moments, WM30, Hart Foundation, Ultimate Edition and both RSE's were great figures!
I always feel like his headscans look like a monkey.

The headscan, like most of his figures, does. |

I’m not a custom guy at all but I might have to make an exception for this figure IF I’m going to get it…can anyone tell me if this head will pop off as easily as the UE heads so I could just use one of the spares on this figure? Wouldn’t be perfect but far better than Gene Simmons.
I’ve only ever swapped UE heads which we know are designed to do so, do heads on elites swap as easy? Or are they different?

So the reduce the size of the logo allowing them to move it up snd place it “more accurate” then the complaint would be the size of it
A $15 figure is not going to be pin point accurate, there needs to be an element of acceptance. You can’t recreate on a 6” action figure a singlet on a 6ft 1” bloke
