There’s been a lot to complain about with Bret figs over the years but the position of his logo being slightly lower than it should doesn’t seem like that big of a deal to me.

They always make him too skinny for my liking. Bret wasn't a super muscle guy, but there was some bulk to him.

If your problem with this figure is the placement of his logo on the torso then you really should consider giving up collecting.
How’d you make it past his head/face?!
This Bret and Ultimate Edition Taker are so bad, first figures I think I’ll actually pass on, which would be a first for me as a flashback/legends guy and two of my all time fav wrestlers, absolutely sucks but I just couldn’t look at them on display, dreadful. Usually Bret’s at least get saved as they are passable with glasses on, even the (black?!?!?) glasses can’t save this one.

I get what you’re saying. Doesn’t bother me but it does seem like something that could easily be fixed.
But yeah, they just can’t get the head and/or hair right on him. I don’t get it. I also don’t get the deal with him not having accurate glasses. I agree Jakks did these things better with Bret. Probably some of Jakks’ best work and some of Mattel’s worst, honestly.

Ironically, I like the first DM Bret scan. I just thought it was slightly too small and the hair was terrible. At this point, Mattel should just mold the single strands of hair or just not include it on the hair piece. I want a straight faced WCW Bret. That Bret from the two pack was a disappointment.

I do this thing with certain wrestlers where I hold out for a specific attire and sometimes it comes back to bite me. Like I never bought a Jericho because I thought for sure we would have WCW Jericho. So I have no Jericho in my collection. Held out for a 98 RVD and it didn't happen.
It's the same with Bret for me as I am holding out for 95 Survivor Series. I may have his Hart Foundation Elite, it's not on display, as a back up. But I do have an extra DM head to use in the event Mattel release Survivor Series 95 with a terrible head.

it looks like someones uncle cosplaying lol I don’t know with the glasses on I think this is his best head on likeness we’ve ever seen in a Hitman figure. Perfect? No but better than every Jakks, Toy Biz & Mattel head prior to it. But I definitely see Bret’s smirk in this one. |

His hair looks black when it’s wet. Look at the promo pictures of him and look at the hair that isn’t shining in the light. It looks black. As a fellow brown-hair, my hair looks closer to black than brown when wet. I don’t think Mattel has a color subtle enough to collr Bret’s hair properly. So we get either black or the brown hair of the Michael Cole BAF Bret Hart and that would look terrible. It never looks jet black even when it’s wet. Even in the pic in the op you can see it’s brown. I’m looking at Google right now. I’m seeing a lot of black-looking hair. Maybe we perceive color differently and you can see the brown and I can’t. I look at that blurry potato picture in the first comment and I see black. |

I just hate the black glasses all the time. I get that they kinda LOOK black sometimes, because of the reflective nature of them…but they’re pink. At least put a pink streak through them or something so they look like they’re reflecting light.
Aside from the glasses though, I don’t think this is a bad figure.
