What do you guys think is the best HBK head scan?
The New Gen (WM 8, 9, 10) I think is the most spot on in my opinion.
Not sure what they tried to do with the SummerSlam '95 head scan but its probably the worst (the network spotlight one)
Not crazy about WM 11, I wish it came out a little closer to the WM 14 one they did. Slight differences but they are very obvious.
Then we have the early DX head scans (DX IYH and Badd Blood IYH)... I know a lot of people hate these but after the WM 14 head scan I think these are the next ones that are great.
Lastly, the UE HBK against Bret... I dont know why, but I absolutely hate this scan. Considering its UE and with the latest tech... i wish they wouldve done a better job.

I think absolute best Shawn scan is the WM 14. I don’t think Mattel will ever top that one, mind you it’s pre face printing. They should honestly retool they scan and add different hair pieces. I have to agree the worst scans were those Ultimate Editions. I’ve repainted mine for more accuracy and even then I find myself trying to like them. The open mouth is better, but not by much. The smiling ken scan is terrible though. I hope we get some new scans and Mattel revisits the DX in your house attire as an UE. The Ringside Exclusive was a massive disappointment.

You're right they should totally build off the WM 14 scan... Its crazy how spot on it is. I've got every elite HBK they've released and im only missing the UE release but I'm hesitant to drop over 100 if I hate the scan. It would just be to complete every HBK. |

WM 14 is the best. Still the best to this day as far as HBK goes.

I think the best overall head is wm14 but i think the best scan is the new wrestlemania build a figure version. Its the only head from that era that has truefx

I don't have the WM14 one to compare, but the Mania 9 one is so spot on, and given that it's my favourite look and era of Shawn that will always be my go to
The UE was so bad it's why I passed on the figure.

Favorite is easily the wrestlemania 14. without a doubt it is his best likeless. When UE came out I was shocked that they did not somehow reuse the facial expression. All it really needed was different hair?? oh well. Really looking forward to the new UE, but seeing that it was pushed back and with the Undertakers head scan for his. I feel like they are having some difficulty

WM 14 is the best, but the WM 9 version is a close second.
I have no idea how someone saw the Royal Rumble 95/Network Spotlight scan and said "let's release this."

I think WM 14 is the only good one. The rest are mediocre or poor.
I actually think Mattel overall has done a pretty bad job on HBK's scan's.. I think several of the Jakks scans are better.

The network spotlight is awful. Just a weird generic face. Which sucks as it’s a great attire. I still have it MOC and now that we’re getting another UE from 95 kind of Era…I’m going to sell the Network spotlight, no way I can display that.

Definitely agree Mania 14, then Mania 9. His Mania 26 Basic is probably the best after those two imo.

That Summerslam ‘95 HBK needs a redo with knee pads and a better head. Or at least a basic so I can swap it myself.

The UE heads aren't that bad in person... the mouth open one is pretty good actually. I think they might suffer from not being very well painted or something... I remember someone on here repainted both of them and they looked fantastic  |
