I’m newer to collecting elites, just got my first older Elite (Nash elite 16) and was amazed at how much BIGGER and COOLER the box is. It’s literally twice the size of the ones now, makes them look pathetic in comparison to me …
I love the box/artwork just as much as the figs,I’m a MOC collector
Any ideas on what to buy with this extra cash. I don’t have any Mattel WWE stuff 2010-2019
I’m really liking the cm punk ringside exclusive (mask) and macho man black and white nwo, haven’t seen in person though

$1000 will get you the mask from the Ringside Exclusive SES CM Punk but that's about it.

Best bet would be to single down to what guys you want. As mentioned above the ses punk might not be the way to go if you want a couple figures.

I have the elite nwo macho moc. It’s fantastic and worth meellions.
Also I’ve got e17 mankind moc that I’d be willing to part with if you like that packaging style.
..Besides that I don’t even remember what I’ve got. Let me know about that mankind if u want and I’ll start opening boxes and reveal to us both my forgotten/unknown treasures
(The original legends line has quite large bubble packaging with excellent artwork)

Depending on what you like be sensible and look for versions of each guys and get the best combo of price/want.
For example when HoC Rikishi came out it’s a steal at retail compared to going back for the older elite. Ditto the current legends Scott Hall etc.

Honestly for some of the best older figures $1000 wouldn't get you that far as the prices have shot up so much.
Some of the best Mattel figures are easily DM Macho Man, RSC Bret Hart, DM Warrior, Legends Rockers but none of those have the packaging style you're describing.

depending on which toy shop you go to, $1000 might get you an elite 34 hulk hogan but be prepared for a bidding war

Yeah, $1,000 in figures sounds cool until you realize it got you like 7 hard to find elites after shipping. And then you wonder how so much money only got you the Pink and Black Attack Bret Hart, nWo Randy Savage, E16 Nash and a 2-4 others. |
