Just curious, and obviously not everyone on the boards is going to see this, and maybe the opinion will be slanted because WWE fans are likely to visit the WWE board. I’m definitely an AEW mark, no ifs, ands, or buts. I prefer their product. I know lots of us do. That said, WWE still does book some entertaining content, so I’m interested to ask…does anyone still prefer the WWE?

I still do. This is changing slowly in recent months, but I still watch much more WWE.
AEW has too many guys that I do not like and/or just don't understand the appeal of.
That is starting to change. the more guys like FTR, Christian, Cole, and Danielson they add, the more I will watch.

I just enjoy wrestling. Depends on my mood which kind of wrestling I like in the moment. I’m hyped on Ciampa as NXT Champ and I’m very interested in seeing where Bron goes from here. I love that Big E is Champion and I’ll never tire of New Day and I’m a fan of the year Lashley is having. Roman is on an incredible run as is Becky, plus Sami Zayn is a gift to everyone. I’m so happy Punk is back and I think Miro is the most fun Champion in wrestling plus Bryan ing Danielson is the greatest pro wrestler going since 2010. Elsewhere in wrestling Cardona is such a great heel and I’m so looking forward to Mox vs Gage. Seeing Christian Cage as Champion and the Fallen Angel returning is fantastic, plus Josh Alexander is carrying IMPACT. Alex Zayne has a future ROH Championship shot! Like wrestling is great right now and at the end of the day I’m into most of it. No real preference, though I watch WWE the most because there is so much of it to consume weekly.

Right now, no.
Does WWE still have the better roster? Absolutely. However they’ve recently shown that they do not care to run a wrestling company. As long as they continue this trend, I’ll lose interest more and more.
NXT was the only wrestling I made sure to watch weekly, but that has since stopped as well.

I LOVE DOUBLE DOUBLE E!
AEW just doesn't appeal to me. I get that they're going for an Attitude Era esque product, but I'm not a fan. It feels like they're trying to be edgy simply because WWE aren't. I don't care for the swearing. I don't care for Brit Baker bleeding. I don't care for bombs and barbed wire.
I'm not a fan of the lightning fast matches where people are more interested in getting their moves in rather than selling them. Thats the same reason why I don't like NXT. I'm even less of a fan of the suspension breaking ultra choreographed lead up to a lot of said moves. JR criticised them a while back for that and rightly so. Obviously WWE are guilty of this too but not as much. I watched the Bucks and the masked guys in the cage match recently and had to turn it off because of how ridiculous it was.
But at the same time, it gives fans and wrestlers an alternative to watch / work, so in that regard I'm all for it, but that's it.

I find myself missing more WWE TV shows than AEW TV shows. I rarely watch Smackdown, Raw I have on for a while then I switch it to American Dad episodes, and it seems now that NXT is different I enjoy it the most.
However, I always watch AEW Dynamite. I may have missed a few episodes during the pandemic era of no fans, but I watch that show pretty religiously. As for AEW Rampage, I watch the live episodes of that show, but these taped ones lately I just don't care to watch. So I will read the spoilers for them instead.

Have 0 interest in AEW, have never seen a single episode. ITs a TNA wannabe. Old Guys Check, 50 million super kicks check, cliq ran check, marky marks check, indy guys i dont care about check, every single wwe release going there check
with that being said I also have very little interest in current wwe.

No, WWE is like eating a McDonald's cheeseburger everyday while AEW is like a grand buffet. There is something for everyone, you will find some things you like, you will also find some things you may not like.

I pretty much agree with this - especially the comments, about them basically trying to recreate the Attitude Era, and Baker stupidly blading/bleeding.... Utterly detest that sig of yours, though.

As somebody who is 36, AEW is the better product for me. WWE seems like cartoon characters with storylines for children.
WWE has special effects, and magic, and over the top characters that don't look, act, or talk like any REAL person would.....again, it's like a live action cartoon. And that's great for kids and families. I need a product that is for adults. That is why I choose AEW.
AEW has rankings. AEW treats wins and losses like they matter. AEW doesn't have the same people wrestle each other over and over and over and over again. AEW cycles people in and out of their main events, showcasing the entire roster, rather than focusing on 3 or 4 people and making the rest of the roster seem non-important like what WWE does.
AEW gives their talent more independent decision making ability on their promos and matches, thus AEW comes off as more natural and organic. To me, WWE comes off as fake, ridged, and like a bunch of people just going through the motions tying to act out Vince McMahon's directives. There is no emotion in the WWE product, and honestly, the "Superstars" of WWE don't even seem to be enjoying themselves. They seem like they are just trying to get it done the way Vince wants without messing up, afraid that they'l be reprimanded for any mistakes or deviations.
I choose AEW. And it's great to see so many people in AEW that were MISERABLE in WWE having so much fun in AEW. I love to see the wrestlers having fun, in a free environment where they are encouraged to be independent, creative, and act naturally.
Anybody who thinks AEW is just bombs, Britt Baker bleeding, and swearing....you don't want AEW. You watch YouTube reviews by anti-AEW reviewers. It's like people who criticize ECW who weren't even ALIVE when ECW was in business and they act like every ECW match was a New Jack segment or a Sabu demolition derby. Yes, there was violence in ECW, but that was just PART of the show. There was something for everyone. Don't act like guys like Shane Douglas, Lance Storm, Rob Van Dam, Super Crazy, Little Guido, Tajiri, Jerry Lynn and so many other great technical wrestlers didn't put on NIGHTLY CLINICS.
Like ECW, I believe AEW has something for everyone. They've got great technical wrestlers, amazing high flyers, brawling and violence if that is your thing, and an AMAZING roster of women who are treated equal to the men and showcased with respect.
AEW is the brand I choose.

Every match I watch nowadays is way to choreographed, they take way to long to set up their moves, and guys are just standing there waiting for someone to jump/land on them.

I honestly haven't been able to keep up with WWE since Drew lost the title. So by proxy it's AEW for me.

I feel like the crowds have something to do wit this. I like the Aew crowd more than the WWE one because the wwe’s crowds tend to be dead, that being said I don’t even watch raw or smack down weekly anymore, and nxt is whatever so Aew to me is better.

Nope.
My loyalty/fandom for WWE went out the window when they released Braun.
Cant tell you the last time I watched any sort of WWE TV.
As an example, Extreme Rules will be the first WWE show I have not gone to in Columbus in almost 20 years.
