My main issue with AEW is that the matches are too long and some have no story behind them.
For an example why was Punks first match against Darby? What was the reason behind this match? Neither had beef with each other.

Neither had beef with each other. CM Punk was a returning veteran. Darby Allin is one of the hottest up and coming wrestlers in the company Punk was debuting in. Punk said he specifically returned to work with the younger generation of AEW wrestlers and started his journey with a match against Darby because he reminded Punk of a younger version of himself. This was all clearly explained leading up to their match at the PPV.

It reminds me of Summerslam 16 when Orton and Lesnar were booked randomly.

As a wwf/e fan since the 80s I can 100% say no and haven't for a long time. I no longer watch wwe shows or ppvs at all due to the awful booking that made me not care about anyone or what they are doing anymore. I see the news and results on social media so know what's going on but feel no drive to watch it. Just tried to watch a 1hr highlight show in the UK on both raw and smackdown and found even that was intolerable for me. Yes the matches can be good but no reason to care or invest in the product or stars. Thank god AEW came along and while even they have faults I will watch dynamite every week with my son and enjoy it. Its fresh and not tailored to kids or shareholders and doesn't have the same feel. Hopefully this will push wwe to rethink itself and what it has become....... but I doubt it sadly.

I’m a lifelong, die hard WWE fan. Been watching for over 30 years. I catch RAW, Smackdown, NXT, and PPVs. But they almost seem to not even be trying anymore. I still watch the shows, but it’s a chore, and I have zero interest. I’m basically just watching because it’s become so routine for me. The product is overly sanitized and they play it safe way too often. And when I say play it too safe, I’m not saying they need to be more violent and do physically crazy stuff. They don’t take risks with ideas. Everything is very formulaic, they keep relying on the same guys, and everything is very cookie cutter.
Right now, AEW is far more exciting. The production value is always moving closer to WWE level, and it just feels like pro wrestling. I have my gripes with it, but it’s far more interesting than WWE right now.

I've preferred AEW to WWE since the day the company was announced. They have a better roster,in ring action,storylines..ect
However I am still and always will be no matter how bad it gets a WWE guy. When their hitting in all cylinders their isn't better pro wrestling then WWE.Problem is for years uts only be flashes here and their.Like Banks/Blair & Walter/Dragunov this year being examples of them doing great pro wrestling better then AEW or any other company.

I haven’t watched Raw since 2013? & Smackdown since 2011? I barely watched SummerSlam this year & only keep up with what’s going on from forums & websites. I don’t even watch AEW. Bit I do believe WWE is hot garbage vs AEW. WWE isn’t going anywhere & AEW may turn into what TNA has become, sometime down the line.

I’ll always be a WWE fan, and I’ll always support them. That said, I can’t stand the current presentation. I hate the ring. I hate the entrance stage. I hate the announcers and their style of speech. I’m not a huge fan of most of the ‘entertainers’, I’m sick of seeing the same people face each other month in month out, even if the matches are good. I really hate how they bludgeon you with the woke hammer, and then blatantly and disingenuously pat themselves on the back for the most minor of positive deeds. It’s just not for me RIGHT NOW.
There are also some things that I really don’t like about AEW. Some things I downright hate. That’s ok though, because neither company is aimed at only me. However, I’m more in alignment with the direction and presentation of AEW right now. I’d rather hear JR stumble than Graves streamlined delivery of what Vince wants to hear. I’d rather watch people like Black, Darby, and MJF than people like Karrion (my wayward) Kross, Damian Priest, and Charlotte. AEW is faaaaar from perfect, but it really feels like that AEW is the direction that the business is headed. Nobody is wrong for liking one over the other, they are very different products. That’s actually what appealed to me most about AEW. I just needed something different. Impact has felt bush league for years, and there isn’t a single person on NWA that I care about.

Dynamite has been my favorite weekly show almost since it began, so yes I prefer AEW. So much has happened since then to enjoy AEW even more, so it's hardly close now, especially factoring in what NXT is right now.

I gave up on WWE in 2004 and started looking at alternatives. I did get into TNA around 2005 and when Hogan and Bischoff showed up I thought TNA would go to the next level which never happened and I stopped watching wrestling completely around 2016. When I heard of AEW in 2019 and found out who the owners were and with Time warner getting onboard with wrestling again gave me confidence that we could have the true alternative to the crap WWE has dished out for many many years.

I'm way into AEW right now and haven't been into WWE for so, so long. Every time I watch WWE's product I just wonder what happened to the wrestling I loved. AEW almost seems like wrestling tailored to me. I love the matches, the talent, the stories, the production...it's night and day to WWE. I actually have weekly television that I feel like I have to watch live, and I can't say how long its been since I had felt that way.

I can't forgive WWE for a 12 years of bad TV, shady affairs & political actions. They built up too much bad faith since 2009. I can't trust them.

I've only watched AEW for Sting, CM Punk and Matt Hardy. When I have seen some matches I'd say Pentagon Jr and Darby is very entertaining and so is Brian Cage for such a big dude too.
I still very much focus on WWE. AEW seems to be more hype now a days. WWE has been shooting themselves in the foot with the match style and reusing the same wrestlers instead of pushing other great wrestler on there roster. WWE can still very much turn thing around but I'll still be a fan hoping it does.

AEW is a wrestling show.
WWE is "action entertainment".
I'm a fan of wrestling.
