I'm excited for Halloween Kills Honestly think it has tons of potential. I really enjoyed Halloween 2018 and I’m excited to see where the story ends up. Not entirely sure I like the idea of a mask less Michael though.

I've been doubling up on horror movies for this year for October. I'm about to revisit the Halloween franchise since it's been a few year since I've watched them all in order and with the recent release of 1-5 on 4K it's perfect timing. I did not buy part 5 on 4K because I hate that movie. But I still have the old blu ray box set to watch the later films.

Halloween 2 is my favorite horror film so I usually watch the original, then it, then H20. Then jumped into 2018 and I’ll watch Halloween Kills when it comes out. Part 4-6 I avoid. Same with the Zombie films.

I haven't watched the 2018 film, so next week will be my first time viewing it. 4-6 are awful, there is a fan edit out there that combines all three into one film called the Loomis Trilogy that I'm interested in watching.

Felt better not knowing why Michael wanted to kill Lori and her friends.

I watched Children of the Corn yesterday for the first time. Awful movie. I'm guessing the book was better?

New Scream trailer dropped. Big fan of the franchise, even if part 3 kind of sucks. Excited for the new one but don’t think there’s any way the original three all make it out alive.

I have this radical idea for a horror film. It would be tricky to make but it would be called Destroy All Slashers, it would feature Ghostface, Freddy Kruger, Jason Vorhees, Chucky, Michael Meyers, Leatherface, all fighting each other to the death. I think licensing the characters from their respectful studios would be a problem. We all know that Freddy Vs Jason sucked, but this movie might have potential if it was done right.

Reminds me of the old "Dracula vs Frankenstein" movies. Loved them.

I enjoyed Freddy vs Jason. The characters are meh and the story is so so but they final fight is fantastic. Yeah licensing would be an issue for sure. Another issue is in terms of Michael, Leatherface, and Ghostface is that they are all human. Yes humans have stopped the others before, but in a full on fight someone like Jason could literally just cut Michael in half with ease.

I finally watched Halloween (2018). Yeah I did not know going in that it ignores every film prior to it except for the original. I thought it was ok. From storytelling I think it kind of sucked that they had a character(Dr. Ranbir Sartain) whose only purpose was to get Michael back to Laurie, because without the family connection Michael has no motivation to go after her. He just wants to kill and doesn't matter who it is. Take out Sartain and I think Michael goes on a killing spree making Laurie have to go after Michael, which I think could have worked. But then again it made buckets of money so what do I know.
