I hope that unpainted arm was just error on his figure and not mass figure problem because that sucks so bad LOL protos also have them I thought I am just mistaken that time but this vedio confirmed it.

Listen bro...I like you and I think you are getting hit too harshly for a lot of your opinions (you're opinionated, so what? That's ok) but if a really small area of paint app is going to completely crush your OCD when it comes to these I'd suggest another hobby maybe. Thankfully it's not on the mask or the head sculpt. Remember the Daniel Bryan figures with the weird, painted on skin tone that made him look embalmed? I don't have any Daniel Bryans and will be waiting instead for a Bryan Danielson for exactly that reason. So in other words...I can be pretty nuts with this. We all have weird stuff like that...I am extremely particular with height/scale, especially with arm sizes and figures with inaccurate body types drive me bonkers. But in many cases I just have to let it go. The latest nWo X-Pac I think is a great figure and it's one of my all time favorites, both figure and wrestler, but I hate the Kane mask accessory. It may have seemed like the best idea during production but its big, bulky and weird looking when it's on X-Pac's head. It didn't stop me from getting that one. I have a Mr. Perfect that is too skinny to be Mr. Perfect but he's on display until another one possibly comes out. If not, oh well. That's a BIG change that I think is more likely to be fixed than seeing this version of Kane again with paint applied more correctly in a later release. You might get lucky with a 'running change' since it is paint but who's to say for sure? Do you want to risk waiting for that? Fair enough if you do, but it's sometimes easier to just roll with it. I also can't stand paint discrepancies but it's really just not enough, especially in the case of this Kane, for me to not want the figure. That's really low on the list for me personally. With the studs on the ring gear, the most realistic looking masked headscan so far, etc., the paint app on the elbow joint when bent for me is a minor price to pay for some of the other things that make it as good as it is. I am a 'one character, one figure' kind of collector otherwise I would be swimming in these and absolutely lose my mind and this Kane hits that for me. This is probably the last one I'll ever willingly keep. I'd suggest, if it drives you that nuts compared to the rest of it, to check out the customization boards and see if you can get the paint tone matching and fill it in! If I was going crazy enough I'd try to customize the Kane mask that came with X-Pac to have a strap and stretch around his head. There are ways around it if we don't get exactly what we might expect in most cases. Sure when you pay for something you are spending your money and want it to be exact but take it from me, these kinds of adjustments if you're at least giving it a shot add character to your collections and can be cool. Especially simple ones like that...not saying you should customize a brand new figure - very few of us are good enough to do that, I sure as hell am not. But a small adjustment for accuracies sake can solve it for you and still look factory fresh. Otherwise, if you want everything to only look like the factory version and come to you that way in a hobby filled with so much specific detail, this is what we have and we kind of have to take the good with the bad. I'm not going to be the 'they're just toys' guy but both directions can be ok in the end. Keep it how it is and accept it or have some fun messing with it. TL;DR - don't be sad!

Bro I bought 2 and I am happy to add him in the collection but I fear of paint chipping as I do photography alot. Nothing major over here I love Kane and I will buy him anyways very happily as taker and Kane are my high school favorites. Thanks for replying brother, I really appreciate that.

ztj_wwf_wwf Itās not that it doesnāt look like Taker. It looks like modern Taker with a wig. I honestly think Jakks did a better job with their headscan. Iām hoping Iām wrong, but he just looks too old. plastictaxicab Is this Taker more on the tan side? Any pics next to the network spotlight? Unfortunately, I don't have the NS figure to send you a comparison photo. It's definitely tanner than some of the other flashback/legends Takers that tried to capture his lighter "deadman" skintone. Ahh shoot :/ Wait do you at least have the elite 12 flashback Kane? Would love to see a shot of the UE Kane next to it. I was wondering if it would be even possible to swap one of the sculpts and belts to it. Sorry if I keep asking, Iām just excited.

I got rid of my entire elite collection and just focus on flashback/legends UEs now, so the only comparison pictures I could provide are other UEs. The only elites I still have are Ultimate Warriors, SDCC Taker, SDCC Macho, and DM Crown Sting.

Thoughts after the RSC unboxing:
Taker looks better in certain angles than others. I think posed up he'll be killer, and the main head still looks better than the initial protos. Makes sense the top part of his tunic would be a soft material for the butterfly joints, which might explain why it looks a little off. Still don't get the thumb gesture, IIRC he didn't do the throat-slit gesture in the Attitude Era, but nice bonus for another Taker.
Kane still looks beautiful as ever, but what's the deal with the right arm flesh tone peeking through on the elbow? I thought they would've cast the part in red? Other than that, I love the gestural hands he comes with, about time a Kane came with them. As neat and obscure as the cape is, part of me would've preferred some kind of pyro effects, like ring post flames, something like what came with the Deluxe Boba Fett from the Black Series.
Overall, I'm happy I preordered these guys, both have some good and bad but we'll see what's what when I get mine in hand

Just watched the video. I actually like the slicked back Undertaker head best of the three, it's accurate enough for the timeframe IMO. The body type is still a little strange, but in person I feel like it'll work better. Kane looks great, the head sculpts are killer and the gear is awesome. The elbow? Sure, it sucks that it's unpainted for some reason, but I got paint.
"We shouldn't have to paint a figure we paid for" yes, I know. At this point? Paint it, or don't. It's up to you.
They both have great looking boots, too. I never liked how previous versions had the laced up variety. The entrance gear and cape look nice, but I don't think I'll really ever use mine unless I do a stop motion or something.
I LOVE the classic Elite Kane, and the Network Spotlight Undertaker with the Summerslam '98 basic head that I had to fill these looks in my collection. I think I like both of these a little better than those Elites.

Last one is a head I was considering using if the real ones looked bad in person (it's not fully on the body, just resting on the peg). I think I'll use the real ones though. Skin tone also doesn't match. Interesting. If I recall, the Survivor Series 1996 DM figure has a slightly darker skin tone that might match up...I'll try that out when my figure arrives.

I know no one cares but this hopefully is constructive criticism.
Hereās my issues: - Paint on Kaneās mask is bad, at this price point thereās no excuses for this. Black parts not going to the top of his mask, red bits where the black paints have not hit properly etcā¦. - What happened to the glossy boots? - Looks about a scale foot too short.
Taker: - Still a dumpster fire. The main head still looks like old man taker cosplaying as 98 Taker. The other heads are atrocious for the time period. Bill should be ashamed of that cheap ass decision. - MMA gloves - Top half of torso is still way too big.

Wait, is Kane smaller than both Taker & Hogan?! From my eye test, Undertaker is just smidge taller than Kane. Kane is taller than Hollywood Hogan.

Well thanks for giving me an excuse to watch some old clips. Still a little confused about why Kane's elbow wasn't cast in red, seems like an oversight but nothing that'll ruin an otherwise perfect figure.
