man if I didn't know you were a boomer based off your previous "people will eventually get paid what they are worth" comment earlier this surely cemented it lmao. Funny you use the word "boomer" as an insult when there would not be any targets or wal marts without "boomers" to begin with. Creating massive retail chains that kill off small business with predatory business tactics and under pay/take advantage of its employees is not something I would be proud enough of to claim but go off I guess. Boomers love to take credit for all the "good" things their generation did but I rarely see them acknowledge the harm they've caused or see the consequenies of their actions. Granted this coming from the guy who Karen'd out over a toy then came here to brag about it doesnt shock me. |

I sometimes get the feeling, my friends and relatives look at me weird, because I am almost 50, and still collect. I see no issue with it. but i also dont stand at stock room doors asking for people to go find me crap. I Pre-order what i need from Ringside and get it when they ship it, which is usually a few months before retail. so i never felt the need to come on a Wrestling Fig forum and complain about employees not "doing their job" by "Stopping their job description, to go hunt for a figure, that may be 1 per case" bro, you’ve made it to 48…just keep doing you |

I don’t know the specifics of every store’s systems of course, ( and TBH don’t really think the employees selling figures is as big an issue as people make it out to be) but that said probably not because I would imagine if an employee is doing that they’re technically scanning them onto the floor first. Its primarily toy collectors blaming somebody when they don't get what they want. You have people posting pics and videos of their toy hunts where they clean out the shelves and are congratulated on nice finds and a job well done, while store employees are accused of theft with no proof. Basically True. I doubt Employees are stealing to sell, which is a bigger loss prevention issue, you would be charged with theft, possession of stolen item, attempting to sell thefted item. it will just rack up a bigger sentence. what i can see happening, is employees hiding "item" buying them with their discount when off shift, then selling item on eBay. which is frowned upon in retail but not a crime. |

So you think asking a working to go in a the back and look for a item is above and beyond? ? Actual, at most major retail stores where stock is electronically managed, workers are not supposed to pull stock from the floor like that. In fact, it’s likely against the rules. Signed, a former back-stock manager. Very rarely, in fact never have I come across a target employee that said it was against the rules to get stock from the back, only thing I’ve ever heard someone say was they were not allowed to give in stock information over the phone and others have said they can’t get them from the back because there is too many boxes, so apparently that’s not the case for target OR target has a lot of employees that break the rules |

Has this employee been fired yet? Please dm me OP, I will also call the store location and continue to make complaints until said employee is terminated. Then he will have to spend the holidays penniless and pondering his lackadaisical approach to customer service. Retail workers have very little civil rights and Im proud of that. Someday soon only robots will be doing their jobs

I always found the better you treated these poor retail workers…the better your chances of finding your figures. I actually had it so I’ve been called several times when they get an exclusive in BECAUSE I treated them well. A little kindness goes a long way and helps bolster your collection without paying huge EBay markups.

Whats the original story?? lol damn I missed out on the shlop gelop neckbeard ragings some entitled neckbeard was whining because he asked a Target employee to check the back for figs. he was gone for a minute I guess so the dude decided to peek in the back and said the employee was on his “phone” instead of checking he was threatening to call corporate to have the employee fired and everything |
