One big takeaway I got from that qna is that basic are possibly getting the interchangeable heads treatment that the newer elites got. Great for easy customization and extra head options for our figures.

I’ll be the one to say it, but I don’t see how pinless joints are an improvement. Yes, they make figures look more realistic, but then it comes with a shitload of complications. A lot of these have very loose joints. How do you fix them if you can’t even remove the peg? You won’t be able to swap the lower arms or lower legs either. I just don’t see the benefits either.

Bill mentioned that the E90 Orton wasn’t originally planned to be the white Mania gear. Whether it was just an oversight or what have you, I’m guessing that played into why the trunks design still says Orton instead of RKO.

So no further planned Foley figures in the pipeline I guess. I'd love even a simple part swap with the Shane McMahon shirt sculpt arms rather than the basic Mankind arms we've gotten for years now on both elites and basics.

Crazy that RSC Exclusive ABA Taker isn’t getting the deadman logo on the hat. How does Bill keep making these oversights? The logo would actually even help detract from people seeing that the hat looks like complete and utter crap. Meh.

I was told a poll wouldn't be possible for this q&a but please make this happen in the future. It could be an annual poll that you promote for a while to get as many votes as possible. I genuinely think this would be the best way possible to let our voices be heard and get a chance of more figures we actually want. I would have one for unsigned legends talent (ftitl and formerly signed), one for attires, maybe one for figures you would like to see re-visited with current technology or upgraded.

You learn very little from these sessions, mattel isn't going to give the game away and the questions that are being asked are in fact the wrongly phrased questions.
If you ask has a particular figure got a chance to be made, they will say maybe etc etc.
You learn very little from these sessions until you start asking better questions.
Just my opinion.

I think people just need to stop going into these Q&As with such high expectations. The questions/answers people want (is X superstar coming? are we getting X belt?) are the questions Mattel will not answer, and understandably. You're lucky Bill slipped you a leak with the new Lesnar, albeit it was probably expected to be coming, but he confirmed it.

We all know they won't reveal upcoming releases or when releases will happen in a q&a session. A hint or two would be nice though. Give us something to speculate on to build anticipation for the next reveals. The question is how do you ask for hints that actually produce something? While all questions tend to gear towards future releases, some questions about the past year would be fun to hear too. What was the most challenging release you worked on this year? What did you learn from the crowdfund experience you will apply to future projects, etc. |

Nothing really answered that I was curious about. Guess it’s a good thing I got that Legends DDP. Curious who the two new FTITL Legends will be. One has to be a woman. Cos Steve said there is other legend women other than Chyna/Trish coming. Maybe the rumoured Molly Holly figure! I think that's likely, but there are female Legends who have gotten figures before that might fit that description, like Elizabeth, Sherri, Lita, and even Beth Phoenix. Molly probably has a decent shot, though. And I'd imagine we'd get at least two of her, since with the multiple Hurricanes they'd probably want to make Mighty Molly. (A Nikki A.S.H./Mighty Molly Showdown pack would be great, come to think of it.)
I wonder who bill meant when he said they was kinda of in the middle of the list to come out but as soon as they came out in a specific gear they are at the top of the list 🤔
Oh man, that was the most interesting thing here for me. My #1 hope there would be Xia Li after her gimmick change. Nikki A.S.H. seems like a really good candidate, they're putting out a lot of merch for her. Swerve's Hit Row revamp is probably another big one, and his basic seems like it got a lot of preorders for a basic. Tamina in her tag gear, maybe?
Of course, that's assuming it's someone we haven't seen yet (and mostly about gimmick changes; maybe he meant a specific event look). Maybe it was something like Bronson in his Bam Bam gear.

I had a friend that went to a Luger signing recently and Luger said he was still under a deal with WWE and that he has a great relationship with the company. I think it's more Mattel dragging it's feet really. "Right spot" and all I guess. Fantastic news. I'm desperate need of a WCW Luger. Either 95 or The Total Package |

He's also a low deco figure that could be used to balance out a set with someone very high deco. Personally, I don't mind the wait simply because now they can release one with better proportioned arms. I hate, hate, hate the HHH arms with a passion and much prefer the improved thick biceps that come with the double jointed version of those arms, as evidenced by the latest McIntyre and Lashley Elites. |

I’ve been saying this for awhile, I am not a fan of pinless joints at all and I’m very glad AEW doesn’t do them |

Maybe I’ve been lucky but I’ve not experienced many QC issues at all until painless joints came in. My Hogan UE mania 9 just recently arrived and the right elbow is really loose, sucks. Even worse with this figure as there’s no stock to request an exchange, poor for a premium figure. |

If Luger is still under a deal then I’m surprised that RSC hasn’t requested a Wolfpac version of him to complete the set since Nash, Sting, Macho, and Lone Wolf Hall from that timeframe were all their exclusives and all seem to have sold very well for them.

You can dab a small bit of crazy clue in the joint and keep bending until it dries. That'll tighten it up, just make sure you don't use gel style crazy glue as it's too thick. |
