Brought this up a while ago, there’s been many elite sets since. With elite series 100 having the potential to be the greatest set of all time and slowly getting closer, what would u consider to be the greatest elite set ever as of now and why.

I’ll go with elite 23. There were 4 flashbacks ( Purple Undertaker, DX Triple H, JBL, and wrestlemania 8 Savage) not to mention Cesaro came with the US Title / Flag and a cargo shorts Cena.

1, 11, 16, 19, 27, 41, 55, 70, 91
1, 27 and 91 are my top 3
91 probably my favorite all time
Might just be recency bias but first RVD in 64 waves and it’s tiger stripes, first RA Hogan and cargo pants Zayn, possibly the last KO Elite with a new ladder mold, and Bianca from her second most important match
Pretty strong imo

Always had a soft spot for E20 for some reason. Most of the sets around that time for that matter.

Elite 16! Still the most buzz about any Elite set that I can think of.
At the time, getting an Elite Ezekiel Jackson with a IC title and a Heath Slater with a ladder was a big deal. Mattel just wasn't making a lot of midcard elites at this time, either. This was early in the line and getting title belts and weapons meant a lot to collectors. Elite 16 CM Punk is still one of the most iconic figures that Mattel has ever made. Diesel and Nash were such a rush and it was so out of the blue to get alternatate figures of the same guy. E16 Nash deserved an elite series all on its own. Rock and Orton were rereleases for the most part but I believe this was the first Elite Orton with this scan.
I also think Elite 8 was fantastic. First time for belts and some seriously incredible figures in that line. The Edge was fantastic, the updated Undertaker was a great addition. FOUR first time in the line figures (!!!) that were all really, really well made. There's not a figure in this set I can complain about.

Good question. First to mind would be elite 11. That set at the time rocked.

I haven't been as excited for a wave ever as I am for E91, for all the reasons listed above.

Just looked through all of them and honestly think 91 might very well be the best.

Personally for me I will say Elite 45 as I bought four out of the six from that series - D-Von, Bubba, Regal, and Luger.
After that I bought three from 30 (Luger and Road Warriors), 39 (Bulldog, Godfather, and Sid), and 41 (Funk, Lita, and 1-2-3 Kid).
All the other set was two or lower. Those 30's to 40's were my favorite sets due to the awesome flashbacks we were getting in back to back to back sets.

There’s a few that come to mind, mostly earlier sets.
E16 — First “Best in the World” Punk Elite, First Kevin Nash & Diesel, First Heath Slater Elite, First Zeke with IC Title, Solid Orton, only one that kinda sucked was Rock E19 — First Masked Return Kane, First Elite Brock, HIAC 97 Michaels, First Liz, Updated Ziggler Elite, Solid D-Bry E23 — Great Legends Set (although salty on JBL part choices) and first Elite Cesaro E27 — First RVD Elite, First Billy Gunn Elite, First Fandango, Mania 28 Taker w/awesome entrance gear, First Rikishi, Updated Kofi
The recent E89 set is really solid as well. Probably the most solid set for the more recent years. Updated Drew scan, Updated Almighty Lashley, New Dominik, New Damian Priest, solid Nia fig.
