11, 15 and 16 is the starter kit for a sick figure roster. Somewhere between those three for me.

Elite 70 is up there for me.
- An updated Dolph Ziggler. The pink chase is great. - EC3 is a perfect figure. - An awesome Demon Balor figure. - Elite Gargano in Venom gear. - A solid Rollins in Shield gear. - A classic Vince.
Pretty top notch set in my opinion.

Elite 69 was nice, 3 first time in the lines, Ali, Ricochet, Lashley, Ciampa's First elite, and a great Rey and Miz as well

Every figure was done really well and this set also had three collectors edition. Liv Morgan, Sonya Deville and The Rock. Very hard to beat.

Elite 69 comes to mind one of the rare instances where I picked up almost the whole wave, crazy thing about it was a lot of people got them for about $7 a piece because of a pricing error at Walmart

But yeah, especially when you incorporate the CE figures, 69 is fantastic. Then you have an additional two female figures, one of whom was a line debut and the other a first Elite, plus a really solid Rock for another big name. The only complaint I can see people having about this wave was that it was really modern-focused. That's definitely okay by me but I know that other people want a different balance.
Every now and then they'll do a wave like that where they just load it up with new midcarders and niche choices, and I love to see it.
Was that Ciampa's first Elite, though? I thought he and Johnny had DIY figures in a Fan Central or Then Now Forever wave?

E16 comes to mind. E69 because there were so many first time in line figures. E23 was also pretty dope

Yeah his first was the Hall of Champions DIY figure but 69 was his first non exclusive elite. I don't know what my favorite is but the waves I've bought most figures in would be 69 and 70. I pretty much bought both complete waves.

Elite 27 with Rob Van Dam and Fandango, but I never saw it in stores.

I don’t have any of them, but elite 7 is impressive compared to what we can expect in a series. I’d say the cloth goods are better now, but when was the last time a full set of 6 all got soft goods and their other accessories.

Elite 27 with Rob Van Dam and Fandango, but I never saw it in stores. I seen the entire set one morning at Walmart. I picked up a Taker, 2 Billy Gunns, 2 RVDs and 2 Rikishis. Eventually got Billy and Rikishi autographed. Those were the days.

One not mentioned that I liked a lot was Elite 73.

One not mentioned that I liked a lot was Elite 73. It may be recency bias, or the improved quality of scans, or maybe the fact that the female rosters and NXT guys are such a big component of my collection, but all my favorite waves are fairly recent like this one. Kairi's still one of the best female figures they've ever made, Planet's Champion Bryan with the belt is a must-have, I missed out on NXT Aleister so this was my first figure of him, Elias has a great scan...just everything in this wave is good to great.

Mattel really hit their stride with Elite 12 through 24, let's get that out of the way. Between accessories, female elites and legends, those were incredible lineups. They just don't get the credit they deserve because that was before face FX and alternate heads/hands.
Elite 40 and onward was the final step that really sent Mattel off to the races because they were making figures for WWE's hottest product, NXT.
I just have a sweet spot for the former, so I'd say Elite 16 or 17.

Well, I don’t think I have purchased a full set in years I will say either E62 because of Surfer Sting or E78 because of Superstar Billy Graham.
