E4 was the set that won me over on Elites. I just really like the entrance gear in this set (poor Jericho had to be sacrificed of most accessories for Morrison's jacket!) E16 has the elusive all-red Outsiders Kevin Nash. I personally had to drop $40 on eBay for it (which is now a steal). This set also has Diesel, Rock with a goatee drawn on with marker, the highly anticipated CM Punk based on MitB 2011 w/ shirt, and a really underrated figure of Heath Slater. E19 was a pretty big deal at the time. It was their first take at the remasked Kane, the YES YES YES Daniel Bryan, the first Brock Lesnar, a damn good Dolph Ziggler w/ unique waist-shirt, and then you have Liz! E23 - the Legends-hybrid set. Purple Taker, DX turncoat HHH, ring gear JBL, gold Macho with a new head mold that I consider to be his first 'good' one, and a fantastic Cesaro from his heel run as US champion. E27 was pretty good. Very vibrant and colorful set with a good mix of old and new. Rikishi, Billy Gunn, and RVD debuted here, and that Fandango is a marvel of deco design! E29 is a strong set. The Wyatts had immaculate figures with unique molds, we got another chance at Andre after Legends (with that ridicules afro piece I forgot about until now, making me laugh as I type this lol), a nice 'farewell' modern Punk with the very cool cloth blue hoodie, Damien Sandow I guess, and then an updated Goldust with one of the slickest attires he had at the time. E52 got us highly requested (and sadly 1-off) figures of Shamrock and D'lo: E77 is that year's SummerSlam set. It has the first Fiend with the scary head lantern that we weren't sure they'd do, an AMAZING figure of Viscera, the Rick Rude variants, and the exclusive Freddie Blassie. E89 is a great set with some nice Elite debuts with modern versions of Drew and Lashley. Really good gear choice for Dom & Priest Also, The Goon.

Morrison my have had two versions of his coat (red & rust), but Jericho also had two versions of his attire. (Blue & Purple) So I think that made up for him just coming with the mic.

I forgot about that. I know they did the same thing with Jericho's Basic attires: the 2-pack w/ Shawn had the blue logo tights, and Basic Series 0/"Signature Series" at the beginning of the line had the purple logo.

The Big Show and Jericho could have came with smackdown and raw tag titles. That would have helped Jericho set out. I know we didn't get titles till elite 8 but it could have been planned for Jericho set which would explain lack of accessories.

Forgot how good E29 was. I prefer that Andre to the Legends one, since he doesn't have the random stubble.

hands down it was Elite 19
Dbry was at the height of his YES YES YES popularity
Collectors got a good deal with Hell No tag team since Kane was also included
Brock was looking at his first ever Elite after coming back to the company
And Elizabeth was the icing on the cake.
First and only whole wave I pre-ordered. The hype was real

I didn't collect figures since JAKKS Classic Superstars 6 at the time.

I have never been more hyped for a set then I was for Legends Series 3. Up until then the Legends line was kinda doing different guys, and incarnations than Jakks had done, but Series 3 did that with all the right guys haha.
Hart Foundation Bulldog & Pillman had been on my wants list for Jakks forever, but Jakks could have never done the gear as well as Mattel did. And it was right around this time that the Defining Moments WM7 Warrior came out and then it was Demolition, Texas Tornado, WM6 Warrior. Mattel was hitting all the right notes for me here. But I gotta say Legends series 3 because I remember being so happy my brother ordered those for me for Christmas, I just wanted to get them and see them.
This was an anticipated set for me as well. I remember getting them on Christmas and my HBK was missing a little squiggly line on his pelvis heart lol, I still have it.

For me that Kane with the Basic 2 or DOD head is top tier
I just don’t like the expression
We need a 04-09 Kane flashback bad

I'm pretty sure elite 16 broke the website if i remember correctly. I also remember elite 17 and 19 both being huge hits too. Those three are def up there. I remember waiting on elite 19 to drop it was around my bday. I miss those days.

Elite 30 was a banger. Batista, Lex Luger, Hawk & Animal. Brock Lesnar with shirt and soft goods pants was a good figure, even that Ryback was better than the previous Ryback.
