๐ช๐ i have a collection thread started over in the mattel section and ive been having a blast updating that thread with my recent gets and little stories and reviews of each figure. my AEW collection has been growing steadily--but not as quickly for my love of AEW Wrestling ๐ i watch AEW Dark religiously, and i make sure to keep up on all the rampage and dynamite shows...i think for the first time in DECADES there is a wrestling product that i feel compelled to watch. upon first seeing the jazwares figures, my first thought was that they reminded me of the old MEGO figures and i didnt know if i would like them. another thing that i felt 'ehh' about was the design of the ab articulation; it reminded me of the jakks finishing moves figures which i had a few as a kid and the torsos got really floppy after awhile. they do look more natural than the mattel joints, but ive grown accustomed to that look. ANYWAYS, after really digging into the AEW product, i HAD to buy some figures ๐ Unrivaled 2 MoxWILD THINGthe rebirth of Mox was one of the absolute best things to ever happen to the wrestling world. seeing him unchained and reinvigorated with passion made everyone snap to attention and forced everyone to step their game up. i LOVE Mox's look with the buzzed hair, beard, combat boots and camo pants. he legit looks like a grizzly action hero, i could easily see Mox and Snake Plissken in the same movie together. I really like this figure ALOT. the headsculpt is not photoreal, but i actually really like the execution- they gave him an angry/snarly/disgusted face and it reads very well. they added the cut to his forehead which IIRC he received from participating at Bloodsport? awesome detail that makes the figure and character look even more badass. next detail i want to touch on is the leather jacket; it is a really nice soft, pliable rubber thats super easy to take on and off and doesnt impede poseability. they executed the MOX spray paint on the back of the vest perfectly, it really does look like spraypaint. the pants are also incredible, if you look closely they added metallic details for the zippers and badges Mox wore. all in all this is legit one of my all time favorite figures; i really like everything about it. this figure poses really well and it just never stops looking badass from any angle. i WILL admit that the left hip joint on my figure is excessively loose, and my figure had flopped over countless times while having him displayed, but for general posing and photography it wasnt too bad. i bought the mox MOC on ebay for $35 shipped Unrivaled 3 PACPAC was my second jazwares figure purchase. from what ive read the general consensus is that no one really cares for the figure, i cant say that i hate it but at the same time its far from perfect. i think the scale of the figure is great, it feels good for posing and display, the headsculpts arent photoreal, but they do read as PAC. i think the sculpting on the body could have been a little more defined; PAC is shredded. honestly, i think PAC is one of those characters who would be better to wait for an updated version to be released later on down the line. the figure isnt terrible at all but while i personally felt MOX was a SOLID 9/10 figure, this PAC is probably a 5/10. i purchased PAC locally at Target for retail Unrivaled 2 PentaCero Miedoim a huge Penta fan--my first exposure to him was on Lucha Underground. Penta, Fenix, Drago, aerostar, really helped me appreciate lucha wrestling. i loved the looks they all portrayed, reminded me of mortal combat characters. i feel like they really nailed this figure! penta is a very toyetic character as it is, and they were able to nail the details of his outfit with a bunch of unique sculpts and paint apps everywhere. we got the iconic '0-M' hand sign which i felt was absolutely necessary lol. one thing i give props to jazwares-and figure companies in general- is the detail on the tattoos. im a tattoo nerd in my personal life, so i spent a bunch of time checking the details on my figures tattoos, and it looks like they nailed all of pents tattoos and they seems to all be correctly colored. i know that stuff like that usually impacts the budget of a line, especially with an intricately detailed figure like Penta. the figure poses well and i feel like its scaled appropriately; Penta isnt necessarily a small guy and i feel like they accurately represented his frame. all in all, i feel like this penta figure is a must buy. i actually feel like this figure in the white looks much better than the gold attire. i got this figure MOC on ebay for $25 shipped Unrivaled 2 Fenixas with Penta, i was exposed to Fenix in Lucha Underground. his workrate absolutely BLEW ME AWAY. this guy has some of the most innovative, exciting, fast paced timing and offense that ive ever seen in my life. he would take an absolute beating and yet somehow----rise from the ashes of defeat and come back with such fire and heart. the headsculpt looks great on this figure! the mask and expression of the figure are on point! as with penta, i was really blown away at the execution and application of Fenix's tattoos. everything is applied very cleanly and sharply, i can read every word and nothing is smudged of blurry. the designs on the mask and tights are also very cleanly applied; there are a bunch of intricate lines that all read very well and the Lucha Bros look great next to eachother. all in all this IS a great figure, however i am a little disappointed that he was packaged without any accessories at all. i assume that it was for budget reasons but i think an extra set of hands wouldve atleast been cool, but the figure doesnt suffer as a whole without them. i got this figure for $18 on Ringside Black Friday Unrivaled 5 LuchasaurusLU-CHA-SAU-RUS clapclapclapclapclap Luchasaurus is a GREAT gimmick, i love it. as a lifelong wrestling fan, i really enjoy a gimmick that we all have to buy in on that WORKS. im really glad that AEW is a platform for gimmicks like these to work. Orange cassidy, abadon, Luchasauraus/jungle boy, theyre all awesome because both the performers and the fans all buy in. ive been wanting a Luchasaurus figure for a long time just because his look, size and moveset are all unique. the guy is damn near 7 feel tall, tattoos all over and he wears a horned dinosaur mask; signature move being the 'tail whip' spinning back kick; i love it all. as expected, Luchasaurus is a MASSIVE figure. it definitely feels hefty and weighty in the hand. as with my previous figures-props to jazwares for executing the tattoos. TBH ive never been able to make out what his tattoo designs were based on just seeing him on tv, but seeing them on the figure, i think that they look pretty cool.the mask and the detail on the mask are incredible! i really like the level of detail on the sculpting, it genuinely looks like you might be able to take his mask off, but obviously you cant, lol. i love the details to the tights design and the leg wraps. one complaint i have with this figure is that the knees seem awfully loose? the gold kneepads keep things in place, but i feel like if i took them off this figure would have no chance of standing upright at all. the ankles arent too bad, but yeah those knees are sketchy. i wouldve also like to have seen his arms beefed up a little bit. he isnt shredded by any means but the figure makes him look really big in the torso. all in all im pretty satisfied with this figure as a whole; the scale, detail and design are all executed quite well-a few tweaks would make this figure perfect. i also think that as the line furthers, jazwares will get some tooling issues sorted out and we wont end up with some figures that feature excessively loose joints. i got this figure MOC on ebay for $14 + shipping

we've wrapped up another historic week in aew wrestling. WHO ELSE LOVED WINTER IS COMING?!?!Unrivaled 4 Kenny Omegamy first exposure to Kenny Omegaman was his work in DDT and his work on the indies. there was a falls count anywhere championship match that locked me in as a lifelong fan because it was so entertaining. my other favorite early match of his career was against Danielson in the infamous john jacob jingleheimer schmidt match. i REALLY like this figure; the headsculpt looks GREAT! we got a pointing hand and an open had as extra accessories and they are perfect for kenny and this figure as a whole--it looks great in just about any pose. the tights really pop, the paint apps on my figure are all cleanly applied and everything is sharp and easy to identify. we got a 'one winged' entrance coat that they actually applied the details to the back of the vest; it does look good on the figure and i have no real issue with the fact that its rubber and not a softgoods. all in all this figure is a MUST BUY, go get it now, if you see it buy it. this figure is just all around incredible. the headsculpt is amazing, and there are just so many details all over this figure that jazwares absolutely nailed. it looks great, it poses great and youre gonna regret paying more than retail for this figure later on. i got this figure for retail on gamestop Unmatched 1 Kenny Omegaright out of the gate i gotta say im not feeling the headsculpt on this figure. it doesnt really nail Kennys likeness on the nose, but it does kinda come off as a heel look for kenny with the ultra serious expression they chose. i like the tights, the design kinda does pop, but the interesting thing to me is that the tights actually look airbrushed. i like the feel of the figure when posing, all joints are tight but not overly obnoxious. we only got two extra hands as accessories and unfortunately they arent the signature Kenny pointer hands. all in all, i feel a little 'meh' on this figure. the headsculpt really brings this figure down, IMO, i am drawn to the tights and the execution they used for that but also not having signature Omega hands for posing is a -1. if you can get this figure for a fair price, i wouldnt advise against getting it, but i certainly wouldnt label this as a must get or must have figure. i got this figure for retail on gamestop Unrivaled 2 Hangman Adam Pagei love this figure! it feels really good in the hand and when posing around. one of the +1 i always give jazwares is the really light rubber they use for elbowpads and kneepads. i feel like this figure is scaled really well overall. the headsculpt looks great--i usually poo poo screaming headsculpts or snarling/grimacing headsculpts because figure companies can never seem to scale it properly or make them look good for that matter, but this one works and it looks great. i think the paint app on the back of my figures vest was applied off center, which triggers my ocd real hard, but beyond that the rest of the paint apps on the figure are applied cleanly and without flaw. all in all i would definitaly recommend picking up this hangman! i got this figure for retail on ringside

MERRY CHRISTMAS may all of your needs be met, and all of your wants acknowledged. may your belly be full and your heart be fuller. Unmatched Darby Allinlike CM Punk said in his promos, theres alot of my younger self that i see in Darby Allin. i love his look, his attitude, his theme song, and the fact that his mentor is Sting. the match from this past wednesday was BONKERS--Darby hit possibly the best suicide dive ive ever seen in my life on FTR. this figure is really cool, however right at the gate i need to bring up my main complaint - which are the knees. they are really thin at the joints which makes the figure a little bit sketchy to pose. beyond that the figure is super cool to me. i like the body paint design of the tree branches; i actually had a couple of Zero t shirts with this style back in the day. the headsculpt--i think this is the same headsculpt as the first darby figure which is okay because it looks pretty good. i really dig the accessories that we got with this figure. the jacket--although rubber-is a light rubber and although it still limits poseability, it doesnt look horrible. id 100% like to see more cloth goods at the price point that alot of retailers are attempting to market aew figures at. one of my favorite things about darby figures are the skateboards. i was also a huge skateboard nerd back in the day and i used to have a whole bin full of tech decks. i like that jazwares actually takes the time to do the skateboards proper and give us rolling wheels and proper textures. also included with this figure is the TNT title; i didnt have one in the collection yet, so it was a welcome addition. all in all i think this is THE darby to have right now. the figure looks great and its stacked with awesome accessories. i was able to get this figure for retail on Gamestop. Unrivaled 6 Chris Jerichotime to review Le Champion! truth be told, i started watching aew full time after jericho's title run, but i was listeneing to his podcast talk is jericho so i was always aware of what was going on. Jericho was always one of those guys who was way better than wwe ever allowed him to be portrayed as. im glad that he was able to have this aew run and be able to fill the shoes of a 'badass'. as for this figure- i actually really like it! the headsculpt-despite being a shouting headsculpt-looks really good. the paint apps on my figure look great! as always, i like to give props to jazwares for their tattoo applications on the figures. i really like the design of jericho's tights on this figure. IIRC most of his looks in AEW have been based on black pants, this was a cool look that matches the black and yellow Le Champion bandana he has around his neck. this jericho figure came with the AEW championship belt as an accessory. i compared it to the belt that came with the unrivaled moxley and it seems like the strap material on jericho's championship belt is thinner. all in all this jericho figure is cool, but i cant label it as a 'must buy'. compared to other jericho figures it is a little lacking in accessories and although i do like the overall design and color scheme personally-compared to other jericho figures, it doesnt really pop in a lineup. i bought this figure for retail at my local walmart Unrivaled 5 Hangman Adam Page TIME FOR SOME COWBOY ...shot? lol the devil is in the details on this figure, folks. i really like this figure alot, however out of the gate im gonna say that my figure has ULTRA loose hips. it made posing quite difficult; i legit had to tweak every single joint just to get the figure to balance in just about any pose. he flopped over more than 5 times during these quick snapshots that i was taking. as far as the rest of the figure, i can say that i really like it. for accessories, we got a pitcher and cup which they executed perfectly and i think was a bit of a fun storyline. we get this hangman wearing a bandana in his long bois with belt and vest; all decked out in intricate details. the bandana features the phrase "Adam Page / Cowboy Shot" and is printed with appropriate designs. all of the designs on my figure were applied cleanly, and my figure features no defects or smudges on the applications. the vest also has designs on the shoulders and a stallion on the left side on the vest. i cant recall what this style of design is called? filligree? either way it continues along the sides of his tights, along with molded fringes. we got a cool molded belt with finges that kindof floats on the waist of the figure. mine does have a tendency to slide around, but i appreciate that it is its own separate item. id like to get another one to modift for my hollywood rock elite figure ๐ค another gripe i have is the execution of these cowboy boots. i absolutely loved how they designed the boots on the Unrivaled 2 figure, but these are much thinner and honestly these facilitate more issues with the bad legs than otherwise. all in all this hangman figure is really cool. i personally like the design of the figure as a whole and the included accessories, however the fact that mine suffers from loose legs really sours my opinion of it. i bought this figure for 19.99 on amazon prime

You can add boots from Mattel to correct the scale on hangman and pop his legs off to add floor cleaner , nail polish or whatever you like to give it a tighter feel but i do feel outside of the moc look this hangman comes up short , series 2 easily being the better placeholder imho until we get our next hangman
Really Enjoying your threads in both forums Good Stuff โMonsoonManโ and Merry Christmas to you
As for Darby unrivaled series 3 had much better knees as unrivaled series 1through most of 4 had the better ones โฆ then they became much thinner which was very noticeable w many figures in unrivaled up until now You can swap the parts but then youโll have a weakened series 3 left behind or mix & match using series 3 legs so it just comes down to the look you prefer youโll find similar issues w penta & Felix series 6 etc
The belt w Jericho again like the of knees post series 4 casualty of seeing a drop in quality unfortunately
Hopefully unmatched 2 will be the start of seeing some of that returning w the Much improved elbows that were technically absent since unrivaled series 2

best wishes to all on the cusp of a new year! Unrivaled 6 Hikaru ShidaHO-LY SHI-DA im a HUGE fan of Shida! out of the gate, i will say that this figure suffers from height issues; she towers above most of the other womens figures despite being 5'5" IRL. this attire is awesome! IIRC it is a Final Fantasy Tifa inspired gear which is incredible--FFVII was a huge part of my childhood aswell. the headsculpt on this figure is done very well--i started watching aew regularly when Shida made her return with shorter hair and new-er look, so i cant necessarily say that they nailed shida with this headsculpt, but it is much better than most other aew womens figures. the attire itself is very well done, she has the samurai style feet coverings, legsleeves with string on right leg, unique kneepads, the skirt with suspenders and unique gloves. as far as accessories, this Shida only came with the AEW womens championship belt---wouldve really liked to see her packaged with a kendo stick. all in all, despite height issues- i would say that this Shida figure is definitely worth the addition to the collection. her look is so cool and unique and frankly if you can source a kendo accessory and pose her with it, the figure will be as close to perfect as it possibly can be. i am greatly looking forward to the next Shida figure of her new shorter hair look with the facepaint and single legsleeve. i bought this figure for retail at my local walmart Unmatched 1 Britt Bakerright out of the gate i want to say that i expected to hate this figure. all of the photos for this figure really dont show the headsculpt as being good at all, BUT im guess it turned out way better than i expected. i get that this figure is of a previous look but i think that if this figure featured her new top knot hair style, itd look way better. for accessories we got the rubber entrance jacket and black gloved lockjaw hands. turns out the thing i hate the most is the rubber jacket, not really a shocker but lol. So-heres the thing. i dont know what the official price point of the aew figures is; i can get them for $19.99 at most places, $24.99 at other places, and $29.99 at other places. if the price point is $19.99 the rubber accessories are understandable--but still not what any collector wants or is cool with. if the price point is to be $29.99 then they need to pony up on softgoods or something other than molded rubber. the details on the rest of the figure look great, all of the paint apps on my figure are applied cleanly and clearly. this figure just looks weird to me at the knees down; it IS accurate as she does wear legsleeves and strapped boots, but it just looks clunky to me. the black gloved hands for "LockJaw" are awesome, they are painted a satin black and although they couldve gotten away with just including one hand, we did get both and they are posed in an open claw pose. all in all, given that she is our current AEW womens champion, i would say that this britt baker figure is definitely worth the addition. this is the best time to buy this figure with the seasonal sales taking place. i know the new blood and guts figure included the new headsculpts, but i dont really care for the blood effects. i got this figure for 9.99 black friday sale

i finally got in two of my most anticipated AEW figures! Unmatched 2 Wardlowi was really looking forward to this figure because the proto images looked great right off the bat---and holy cow the final product actually lived up! right off the bat i want to say that they NAILED BOTH headsculpts for Wardlow. the screaming headsculpt looks incredible and the paint apps on my figure are applied perfectly. the second, more stoic headsculpt is also done to perfection, and once again my paint apps are flawless. if i could slide in any sort of criticism, it would be that they went a little too heavy on the paint apps on the hair; wardlow has the topknot hairstyle and then the back and sides are all a light fade...once again grasping for any sort of criticism there, though. the attire looks great on this figure, i like the black and green color scheme of the figure; nothing to do with the figure at all but i kinda feel like Wardlow's singlet design looks like something from a Smackdown game ๐ mirror image of a lion wearing a crown and then 'Wardlow' in a choppy font down the spine. needless to say, the designs and paint apps on my figure are all applied cleanly and look crisp. when i first unboxed the Wardlow figure, i was looking at the body sculpt and i feel like his core body is actually proportioned fine, however i feel like his arms couldve been made a bit bigger. when you pose him next to other figures, he still looks massive, but i would like to see his next figure get bigger biceps. all in all----YES, go buy this figure right now. as far as the state of the AEw line so far, some figures and characters get knocked out of the park and some are complete stinkers---this one is a winner all day. i bought this figure on ringside using code wfigs ๐ Unmatched 2 Tay Conti so--having started watching wrestling during the inception of the attitude era, i can say that women in wrestling have come a long way. as the years have gone by, womens wrestling has continued to evolve and the competitors today are absolutely incredible. ill be honest and say that in this day and age im much more invested in womens wrestling because it feels like the womens cometitors are constantly just going new places and im just happy to be along for the ride. ANYWAYS this figure is BANANAS.im gonna cut to the chase and tell you to go buy one right freaking now. open a new tab-go to ringside(thats the only place to get one atm) put one in your cart and checkout. this picture here will put everything into perspective on how GOOD this figure is. one of the coolest things about the jazwares line IMO is the fact that they seem to give everyone a unique body sculpt. all the way from the feet, the kickpads, the thighs, the abdomen, the upper torso and obviously the head. to say it broadly, Tay Conti has a unique build and jazwares captured it perfectly ๐ another thing i am really digging is the color of the attire and how jazwares was able to capture it. the emerald green really pops and reacts great to the light. the mesh design on the legs came out great and the paint apps to my figure were apply cleanly and everything lines up great. they did a great job sculpting the kickpads and the feet. im a kickpad nerd(weird thing to be a mark about, i know) and these really look great. all of the paint apps on the abdomen and torso are also applied cleanly and look great. there is alot of skintone paint on the abdomen but it isnt jarring. the topknot headsculpt of this figure looks great. if i can put on my critic hat--it is reminiscent of Tay, but it is far from being a "photoreal" or "truefx" sculpt. if i can take my hat off, it still looks really freaking good. the paint apps on THIS head were applied cleanly and pretty spot on. i have to deduct points for the second included head-especially in my case. unfortunately for me the paint apps for the lips were printed off and the head looks terrible to me. i know that Tay is a legit badass, but i dont think a stoic face really was the best choice for this figure anyways, i wouldve preferred one of her goofy awkward smile or one with her tongue out or something. another BIG -1 i have to drop on this figure is the fact that we only got closed fist hands. it worries me because looking at the upcoming Kris Statlander figure-it looks like they did her dirty too-i hope this trend doesnt continue. Tay Conti needs a hand for waving and frankly all figures should come with open hands for holding.....idk anything. i mean Tay does do a little shuffle dance where she closes her hands like this, but you certainly cant pose the figure to capture that. to restate-all in all this figure is amazing. the attire really pops, all of the sculpting is accurate and Tay Conti is a badass ๐ i bought this figure on ringside

its been a little while, but we're back today for a Femme Fatale friday! lol Unrivaled 8 Kris Statlanderi find myself becoming more and more invested in the AEW womens division; the characters, storylines and workrate and way above the level that wwe could ever offer, imo. Kris Statlander is a character that draws attention to herself just by looking at her. she is constantly labeled as a 'powerhouse' competitor by commentary and she does flex those otherworldy abilities in the ring. i like the idea of Kris statlander and would love to see her get more attention and a bigger push. Kris has sported some great looks in AEW; frankly for her first figure i kinda think her debut look wouldve been a better choice with the black attire and the dots and stripes look facepaint; however this look really pops! this figure is wearing a lime green attire with pink and blue accents on the top; Kris is also sporting pink and blue highlights in her hair. she has the green paint over her left and and it may be hard to tell but they actually gave her one green eye and one brown eye; accurate to her look! i think the headsculpt looks great, if you look at the sculpt from the side, if definitely reads as Kris; the paint apps to the eyes and lips make this figure appear a little more imagined, but if refined a bit, i think this head would look spectacular. i always like to touch on Jazwares and they style of adding the tattoos to figures. im a tattoo nerd and i just love how they apply the tattoos so crisply and cleanly to a figure; there are some tattoos i cant even make out when i see them on tv and then their figure features it so clearly. Kris has a really cool space theme piece on her upper arm, and other sentimental pieces scattered across her torso; they all look super cool. i love the feel of the figure when posing around; the ankles are ever so slightly loose, but the rest of the joints on the figure are nice and tight, the arms feel great when posing around and the legs and knees hold poses easily. Kris always wears a chonky kneebrace on her left knee and Jazwares not only included it, but did a fantastic job with its design, i might add. it isnt articulated, but it has more support on the back side, so when you bend the knee, the brace conforms really nicely. so as much as i DO like this figure, im left feeling really disappointed because.......no accessories or extras. Kris wouldve benefitted greatly from having both a second head(ponytail with lightening bolt paint or different just face paint design atleast) and a set of hands in her signature "Boop" pose. IMO, Unrivaled 8 was a bit of a less than desirable wave, and looking at where the budget couldve possibly gone, gosh golly, everyone seems to have been given a floppy rubber coat(that collectors dont want anyways). i think that the AEW line is goint to end up becoming quite strong and i also think that the womens figures are going to be huge sellers because the womens wrestlers are ultra badass. im not advising anyone to skip on the Kris Stat figure, quite the opposite--but IMO it just really stinks that she was onylgiven fist hands and no additional anythings Unmatched 3 Anna JayJOIN THE DARK ORDER hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm here we have the leading lady of the Dark Order and one half of Tay-Jay--------the Queenslayer, Anna Jay! Anna Jay is a really fun character, i feel like she has just a bit of a way to go as far as developing a personality that really captivates the fans, but so far as a part of the dark order and Tay Conti's BFF, shes doing great and is getting alot of experience by association. her figure is surprisingly great, IMO! one of the things i really appreciate Jazwares for is that they seem to give everyone a unique body sculpt; at least as far as the women are concerned. Anna Jay comes with two headsculpts; a serious face and a smiling face. i think they both look pretty good, but it seems to me a classic case of factory paint apps not really doing a headsculpt the ultimate justice. Anna Jay was given a silver and purple dark order themed attire; signature stars on the top and trunks and a really cool 'reptile skin?' pattern throughout. all of the paint apps on my figure were applied cleanly and crisply. for accessories we got interchangeable hands; one of which is the signature dark order claw. all in all this is a really cool figure that im really glad was included in this dark order themed wave. TAY-JAY

TOP GUY REVIEW INCOMING FTROne of my favorite tag teams currently running the ropes! Harwood and Wheeler are absolutely killing it right now, cant wait to see them in trios competition alongside papa Punk. ANYWAYS, these figures of the Top Guys leave a little bit to be desired. the first thing i want to gripe on, didnt even make it into the photo--and its those STUPID rubber molded jackets. i get that they are atleast giving us something as far as outerwear, but i really think we're at the point where ALL collectors are clamoring for softgoods items. the molded rubber accessories were never it, and i really want to see wrestling figure manufacturers move away from it. id gladly even pay an extra +$4 or something per figure if we were guaranteed to always get softgoods moving forward. the headsculpts of these figures are a little bit whack. Dax's head seems too big and Cash's head seems too small. ive finally figured out what makes the jazwares heads seem weird to me---its the eyes. the only way i can describe it is like 'anime eyes'. Dax suffers from this really bad, Cash not so much--but my Cash figure has a paint defect streaking across his face which REALLY sucks. the rest of the figures are pretty straightforward; they are wearing white trunks with their respective logos in red on the fronts, matching kneepads. Dax was given his signature kneebrace on the right leg. Props to Jazwares as always for clean application of Cash's tattoos. although it is cool to have FTR in the AEW roster already, these figures do leave alot to be desired. i feel like the proportions are off on both figures, the body recipes could be tweaked because Cash is really meaty and Dax is not as svelte as his figure may portray him. the headscans can also be greatly improved on these characters. they are slated for a future release and frankly, i would hold out for those figures if you havent picked up an FTR already.

JOIN THE DARK ORDERHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM ๐Unmatched 3 Brodie LeeThis is a GREAT figure! this is our first AEW figure of the late, great Mr. Brodie Lee. Brodie comes to us wearing his Dark order attire in the black and Grey colorscheme. the headsculpt of this figure looks amazing, the resemblance to Brodie is uncanny and they had captured his likeness perfectly right down to the long beard and hair styled in a topknot. his attire features Dark Order logos throughout; the main logo featured on his stomach and back, and his name and the numbers of each member going down each pant leg. this figure really scales and poses great. i remember racing to lock in my brodie lee figure thinking that they would be a hot selling item, however everywhere i go seems to have two or more brodies on the shelves. for accessories we got interchangeable hands, the infamous "papers" that were seen in many BTS episodes on youtube, and the TNT championship. the championship fits great on the figures waist and the interchangeable hands are able to hold the paper accessories just fine. all in all i would absolutely buy this Brodie Lee figure. i have 0 complaints with the figure personally, it really captures his liness well and the figure scales well amongst the rest of the AEW roster. Evil Unothis is both a character and a figure that i didnt initially expect to enjoy, but here we are. Evil Uno is a refreshing gimmick of being a sort of intellectual, but slightly evil? either way its cool. this figure captures evil uno quite well. the sculpt on the mask looks great, the details on the teeth and all of the lines in the mask are captured well. i mentioned it in an earlier review, but this figure suffers from what i have coined as the jazwares "anime eyes". its the one feature that makes a few headsculpts look cartoony, and this is a definite offender. his eyes and pupils are just too big. the rest of the figure is really great, though i like how the body is scaled because Uno had a unique body shape; he is thicc and not just holding weight and this figure translates that well. the rest of his attire is done in black with purple highlights and silver studs scattered throughout. down to his boots; his socks are visible over the tops which is characteristic of Uno. the boots are detailed with purple laces, however the lower feet do not have that color detail on the laces, which is a big bummer because it looks bad. for accessories, Uno was given interchangeable hands and a Mic. he is able to loosely hold the mic in his signature pose. all in all, this Evil Uno figure is quite evil in the level of how good of a figure it turned out to be. Very cool that jazwares dedicated an entire wave to the dark order, i hope to see more themed series in the future

today we're gonna be talking about another really anticipated figure..... THE MAD KING๐๐๐ Eddie KingstonEddie is a guy who has grown on me tremendously and has my everlasting respect as a fan. i absolutely love the passion he exudes when he is on screen, and we both seem to struggle with the same types of demons and i love that he is open to talking about that because it normalizes talking about those subjects for men and we all need that kindof support. Eddie is a great guy and i love that he is also really quick on his feet because lots of guys seem quick to rib him. ANYWAYS, this Eddie Kingston figure comes to us in his traditional Black and Yellow ring gear. i really like the colorscheme, black and yellow really pops amongst the rest of the figures. the biggest talking point of this figure are the headsculpts. i feel like even the proto stage the sculpts took alot of flak and i will say that they are CLOSE but not quite perfect. i tried my best to get as many angles and photos as i could but the sculpts actually do hold a likeness to eddie, i just think that the head is too small and the paint apps could be a little better. the first sculpt is Ediie making his trademark snarl face "Mob face" if you will ๐คฃ i like it, there is alot of expression to capture when making this type of face and its all there. his eyes are squinted, eyebrows tilted, mouth bearing teeth and lips flared out. the paint apps on my figure were applied cleanly and crisply, i just think that the paint app for his hair and facial hair is too thick making the headsculpt look cartoony. also i think there is a scaling issue with his head, it needs to be like 25% bigger. the second head is a serious faced Eddie, which once again the sculpting captures eddie but the hair is just too dark and the head is too small. the rest of the figure looks pretty good; eddie is not a svelte man by any means and they kindof gave him a pot belly which is okay, but looking at the sculpting of the upper body i feel like they gave him too much chest and shoulder in comparison to his abdomen proportions. the lower body sees Eddie wearing black cargo pants tucked into some tall boots. the sculpting on these pants is unique to Eddie, these are not the same pants from Mox. for accessories we got Eddies signature shocker hand, fisted hands, holdy hands, and a brown cross bearing necklaces. the necklaces i feel are a little wack, they are molded in a poopy brown color and there is a gap in the necklaces that was just completely molded in making it look really cheap. all in all this Eddie figure is pretty good for Jazwares first swing at the mad king. i feel like this figure does suffer from some body proportion issues; chest and shoulders too big, heads too small- but it still looks great posed among the rest of the AEW roster becasue eddie is a legit badass. i think the next figure of eddie will be more dialed in but this one is still worth adding to the collection.
