Very odd. Like even for Mattel. Curious, did they need to use that torso to fit the rubber shirt? (I don’t own any of the other Hogans or that design of a rubber shirt so not sure what, if any, size issues there’d be). Either way, that looks terrible and I’m generally not one to get too worked up over parts choices. DM Hogan has a rubber shirt and he has the correct torso (same one on his Survivor Series Elite), so I don’t know what the excuse from Mattel is for using the Sheamus torso on this Hogan. Guess I’m off to go buy another DM Hogan and do a torso swap/crack between it and E91… So strange. One of the times they should just reuse the same bodying they don't.

man this is such a letdown of a figure....something people have been asking for for YEARS, and its full of horrible parts and the wrong skin color.

Why should we expect better when this crap has been happening for years? They don’t care if they use the best parts available, they care about how they can save the most money.

Sorry for those who were anticipating this and are disappointed.
Even though I’m one of the biggest HH fans around, this incarnation of the Hulkster didn’t appeal to me at all.
Just bring on the ‘80s and early ‘90s Hogans please! I can’t wait for that WM I figure.

Terrible part choices. That head has been bad since day 1. Looks nothing like hogan from that era. It barely resembles him from the 1993 era for which it was created. Should of had and older weathered face and either an iron sheik or reg hulk torso.

Elite 34 Torso would have been better for this coupled with hot dog coloured skin. Awful choices made on this fig.

I pre-ordered it because it's Hogan, but I'm not happy with it...at all. I probably shouldn't have bought it since this just reinforces Mattel's crap part choices, but one no-buy won't change anything. This really doesn't make me feel confident in a potential Hulk Still Rules Hogan being proper size/color/head age. And what the hell is with the terrible font on the bandana? Why does it look so smooshed?
Seriously Mattel, 2002-2005 Hogan should really use the 2002 Lesnar body parts, and a NEW FREAKING HEAD! Please stop re-using the HOF head, please never use it again. You can use the screaming Hollywood head as an alternate, but give us a new age-appropriate smiling or smirking head for feck's sake. Hulk Still Rules is a massive want for a lot of people. If it's anything like this piece of crap it will be a massive disappointment. I'd say I'd buy it anyway, but as it is I'm putting the HOF Hulkamania shirt (since it uses the same way-too-small torso) and straight-faced head from Ultimate Hollywood on this figure and throwing out the freaking HOF head to make it at least close to HSR, so I'm not buying the same crap figure twice.

I never knew it was so bad until I saw the pictures posted above. What a crazy choice of parts. I'll be keeping mine in it's box anyway, but that is poor.

Ok so before I wasn’t upset about it because I’m keeping mine MOC and even if I open one I’ll display him with the entrance gear.
However, now I’m upset for those that do care. That’s clearly not the type of torso he had back then. Mattel is so inconsistent and stupid that it’s crazy.

Lol yeah I get a lot of you guys frustration, I'm right there with it as well.
Other than ultimate Hollywood, this Hogan was my next most anticipated Hogan, and it's a huge let down.
With the boas and belt on, it causes a decent distraction on it, might possibly make a new cloth shirt for him, just need to find yellow or red material lol
For the people with feds, this guy is tight, and will always be tight, what you do have to worry about is if front chest piece eventually falls off.

Between this torso and the better RVD attire being canned for no reason this has to be the most disappointing elite set of all 🤨

I understand people's frustration - but even with the various faults/part choices, I still think the figure works(!). The overall look - especially with the boas and shades on - looks good to me. Or good enough for a standard Elite, anyway.
A new head would have been cool - but with all the things the figure comes with (including newly sculpted boas), the budget probably wouldn't have allowed it. I wonder if the E34 head would have worked better though?

Thanks for posting those pics, you’ve definitely saved me from buying. What an awful figure, you have to wonder about design choices sometimes.

I will give credits to bill bcoz I have heard that it was his call maybe he watched Hogan wrestling in this era with cloth tied to his eyes.

Basically, I think he needs an eye test. Colour choices and part choices have been suspect from the get go. Between elite team design choices and basics falling off a cliff under new stewardship Im not even sure why I bother collecting these days.

Is it just me or will the new Elite Cesaro have the same parts? I think that's even worse somehow. It seems they just can't get Cesaro right...

I wouldn’t of ordered from rsc if I knew it looked like this. I’m gonna have to just leave it moc now.
