this figure is an embarrassment. how can anyone part of this mattel team look any collector in the eye and be like "how about that hulk still rules hogan!" utter garbage. what a waste of a figure slot

Is it just me or will the new Elite Cesaro have the same parts? I think that's even worse somehow. It seems they just can't get Cesaro right... Cesaro looks the same, not sure about the shoulders and arms though

I'd like to know why they didn't use the new Hogan skin tone on him that we've already gotten in the Survivor Series wave.

I wanna see someone swap the torso with the elite 34 hogan one. It would look way better than this chinese new year one If anyone is able to do this successfully, I'll pay out the nose to have them do it for mine. My Hogan showed up yesterday and I think it broke me. I'm so disappointed in what could have been my favorite wrestling figure ever.

I think all Hogans should have this skin tone for the most part.

They should definitely just be using the Survivor Series skin tone for everything.

Agree. I don't understand certain Mattel logic sometimes. They make Reigns the wrong skintone too, he should be lighter. I also hate the Sheamus torso above anything else. They kept using it for Ric Flair too.

Got mine yesterday , sadly I’m disappointed as well. The Arm articulation is badly stricken , and the torso looks just plain wrong. I’ve been dying for an 02-05 Hogan for years and this was a must get. I really wish they did a better job at picking the parts. Hopefully they can do us right with an 02-03 Ultimate or Elite with correct or new parts.

Easy pass once I saw how it turned out.

Sad. This was a Hogan figure I wanted for years and bungled so horribly I can’t even buy it.

Jesus… that’s bad. Steve went on record, I believe, stating he would have used a different torso but ultimate Bill made the final call. Nakamura, sane, Okada, or Asuka must have lost or something that day and put Bill in a bad mood. That hogan is a major OOF.

I’m still waiting for my Hogan to ship out…
And I preordered him (along with KO, Zayn, and RVD) the day he went up…

In my opinion, I'd rather have this "badly" made Hogan than not. A savvy collector can fix something that is "wrong" with a figure. That said, would using an Ultimate NWO Hogan torso work with these lower legs?

People have also mentioned the E34 Hogan torso would work better than what they gave him.

True, but I feel like most people that come to this site have either already have done their own fix-ups or will eventually (Especially, loose collectors). It's part of the fun of the hobby! But you are right, most people will find it irritating and costly.
