Someone should take the Amazon UE upper and put it on E91’s legs. Then just paint the stubble.. I think that would be the best option besides elite 34.

Torso swapping for most people is not easy. True, but I feel like most people that come to this site have either already have done their own fix-ups or will eventually (Especially, loose collectors). It's part of the fun of the hobby! But you are right, most people will find it irritating and costly. I mean I have been able to do part swapping but never successfully did a torso swap. They’re way too hard for me lol

I think I have a Defining Moments Hogan in storage. I wonder if a fix up of Ultimate Hollywood head, E91 legs, and Defining Moments torso/arms/trunks would work.

The torso choice does suck but i still dig this figure a lot. Very fun figure. The new boas are really awesome too. So much better than the past ones and storm ones.
Also im not having any issues with the arms busting the torso. This couldve used the bluetista or the e 34 hogan torso.

Bill just hates Hogan so he's making sure that all Hogan figures he works on are at least a little bit crap so that nobody is ever totally happy with them (i.e. DM Hogan head, SS Hogan eyes, Amazon Hogan stubble, every freaking Hogan that has ever used the Sheamus torso, and pretty much everything having to do with E91 Hogan). UE Hollywood mostly escaped this, but that was only because people were approaching Mattel offices with flaming pitchforks and nooses BEFORE the figure was even announced. He's trying to drive the prices on the secondary and tertiary markets down so he can get all of that sweet action. My buddy told me all about it. He has a toy shop and knife fights regularly break out in his shop over the Hogan figures, so he'd know. In fact, my other buddy worked at Target until he killed himself due to constant bombardment with questions about Hogan paint jobs/part choices. I think his last words were 'F#ck Bill!!' I assumed he was referring to Bill Nye until Buddy with a toy shop explained the whole thing, and I feel a better person for being made aware.

Wow that torso to the crotch piece is horrible. Reminds me of APA Brashaw, that figure had so much potential but that extra waist space made it complete trash.

Was gonna grab the elite 91 hogan which I probably still will but man that torso is probably the worst part choice they’ve made since the elite 78 Matt riddle arms

I wouldn't be surprised if the plan was to release this Hogan here and the 2002 WWF Champion Hogan as the UE. That's the one most people want, and strategically, a lot of folks will buy this one in the meantime since the attires are close enough.

What is this supposed to represent then?

It's based on Summerslam 2005.

Elite 34 hogan has a different crotch piece + pegs. Would need some modding for it to fit. I believe dm hogan shares the same crotch piece with this E91.
I used sheik torso, dremmeled the ab overhang and shoulder insides on the torso.
Batista torso can fit on the crotch but neck will be girrafe.
I'll try to post photos.

What is this supposed to represent then? As others have said, it's from his match with HBK at SummerSlam 2005. The bandana, belt and boots would all be yellow for his 2002/Still Rules look... he'd also have a beard/stubble (like the Hollywood figure).
