He's worked for WWE for 10 years but other than Tensai, he hasnt had a figure. He was quite prominent during the ruthless aggression era, and I think the size and look would make for a pretty badass fig.

The only thing I can think of is that his current contract doesn't cover merch. It's a damn shame, because I'd love an Elite A-Train.

Yes, there are some oddball exceptions where performers are available for X but not Y. But I'd shocked if he's the kind of guy you make an exception for. Maybe they haven't been able to find a spot for him, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him as one of the new Legends in 2022. There are some other names - The Goon, Chief Jay Strongbow - who have been under deals for years too, and are just getting figures now. I just don't think it's a huge priority for either WWE or Mattel compared to bigger name talent. And with the CE program going away, it'll be interesting to see how those types are handled going forward.

Because it's 2021 and he was a mid-carder in the RA era. With the oddball exception drummed up by Bill, Legends or older talent are usually big names.

There's most likely a handful of FTIL talent they have available or who were available within the last couple of years. Molly Holly Albert Norman Smiley (seems unlikely) Terri/Marlena (scrapped when Dustin left, and doesn't seem likely to get made) Tatsumi Fujinami (believe Bill said he doesn't have enough US recognition to make) Stacey Keibler (didn't she have complaints about her past figures? I could see her not being available for figures)

Everybody wants to forget his wrestling days. He was one of the worst ever. He’s redeemed himself as a coach, and bringing up the A-Train days only undermines his credibility.

A-Train was his most pushed gimmick/character. He was involved in a big WrestleMania angle with the likes of Brock and 'Taker. He would've made for an awesome CE figure, IMO.

I’d totally buy an elite Albert from his WWF days in X-Factor. That TTL Albert was one of the best executed TTLs and still one of my faves.

Maybe your previous account name would ring a bell, but I can’t guarantee it.

Tensai was the bigger push, at least briefly (he beat Cena and Punk within a few weeks of debuting), but yeah A-Train was the longer, most well-known gimmick. And it was awful. Nobody cared about him or reacted to him, and he was always hanging around just below the main event like a bad smell for what was really only a year or two but it seemed like decades. He was the sore thumb of the first brand split SmackDown roster. I’m sure he’s a lovely guy, but he was so bad as a performer. Lesnar, Angle, the Guerreros, Edge, Mysterio, Matt Hardy v1… and then there’s Albert, with a new name and useless as ever. God bless Heyman, he tried, but there was just nothing to work with.

Same reason we don’t have a Brother Love figure. Not under a merch deal.

Didn’t he have another figure besides the Tensai?
