Mine hasn't been cancelled...yet. I don't think I'll get it to be honest, but luckily I did get one from eBay a few months back.

My order was cancelled too. I have every Ultimate so far, but I'm not going to pick this up from eBay for crazy prices like I just did for the NHB SDCC.
I think Mattel will end up rereleasing it somewhere and hopefully if/when they do, they get rid of the Hollywood beards. I'm not sure why Amazon and Walmart make such a big deal about having their own exclusives when they can't deliver what people order.

Honestly Mattel sucks. The figures are great and all but this is always such a constant paint in the a@@. It’s not worth it. I buy what I see and I preorder when I can. What shows shows. I was so into this line but now I’m half in. I focus on buying vintage Gi joe and motu now. Maybe this will show like hbk and they actually make good. If they do great. If not I’ll find something else to buy.

Such strange distribution from Amazon but mine went from delayed to 8/12 yesterday to being shipped today? I thought for sure it was going cancelled like so many others.

I guess I have a real hard time understanding how..... * Amazon & Mattel KNEW this was a problem 1 year ago * Mattel has expressed concern & claimed that a second production run was being done to fulfill the orders that were ALREADY ACCEPTED.... * They had 12 MONTHS to make more & get them into the Amazon warehouse. 12 MONTHS. And here we are, that moment of truth - and hundreds of orders - just CANCELLED. "We don't want your money". "We are unable to make enough of these to satisfy the ORDERS THAT WE TOOK." I just.... don't...... get it. I'd love to see a tally of how many of these pre-order "exclusives" have actually gone well (well, meaning - We set a date, we took orders ON that date, we processed the orders, and the products were delivered as-promised) - and how many have been a disaster for the loyal customers. Has anyone kept track? I imagine it's pretty embarrassing.... I just really wanted this figure.... The thing that made me laugh was the whole "pre-order guarantee" thing from Amazon. So you've guaranteed absolutely jack s***... Great job by both parties.

I bought mine 8/30/21.
On 8/31/21, the delivery date updated to 8/9/22.
Still no cancelation from Amazon. Only says it will be arriving on Tuesday.
Waited a year and now I fully expect it to get canceled.
The one Hogan I actually wanted and this is what happens.

I don't understand why Mattel continues to give Amazon exclusives anymore. They manage to bungle every exclusive they've had. I'd be very embarrassed by this whole debacle

I used the chat feature to talk to costumer service. Asked if I could get some kind of compensation for my time like a similiar figure and they agreed. I was told to order a figure and once its delivered refer back to the chat to receive a refund as an apology.

Sounds like a way to get you to buy more and spend more money then get the “oops we were wrong, no refund”

For everyone that was told by Amazon customer service they would refund the difference for any figure bought at aftermarket prices… don’t do it. They lied. No lie here. The item shipped for $138 from a third-party Amazon seller. I paid using my Amazon Store credit card. I returned to message them once it shipped and they issued me a refund for $102.44 onto my credit card. Also, I didn't said you could buy it and provide proof of purchase for a refund. I bought this item on Amazon, from a third-party seller that was not Amazon itself. Its not like I went on eBay and thought I'd email them my eBay order for a gift card or something. You didn't make your case clear enough and perhaps you didn't get the right CS rep. They all seem to handle things a bit differently. Also, it doesn't appear that any sellers on Amazon are offering this product anymore. But it 100% was not a lie. I posted my own chats with my CS rep and it worked without any hiccups or pushback. Here is exactly what I said to Amazon CS:Hey, I am apart of an online community around these collectibles and many, many people are stating that this item was supposed to be delivered today. But they are now receiving emails stating their orders are being canceled. I ordered this item almost one full year ago and it is supposed to arrive today, but it has not shipped. This item is an Amazon Exclusive and is not available at other retailers. The only other option to order this item on Amazon is quite pricey. I am wondering if I am able to request a gift card for the difference of this price to the new price as a make good for waiting over a year just to have my item delayed and canceled. The rep assured me I could get the refund whichever way I'd prefer. I also assured my case by asking something along the lines of "so if I paid the $130 for this $30 item, Amazon will refund me the difference?" And he said yes.

Has anyone stopped and thought that maybe this was Mattel’s plan so that in the future Amazon orders significantly more inventory in the future for all purchases? Remember we really aren’t Mattel’s buyer at the end of the day, Amazon and all the retailers are. Profits over people.
Either way, I’m in the same boat as everyone here. Waited an entire year for a shipment notification and then hours before it was scheduled to be delivered - canceled.

Personally I think Mattel shipped the second shipment but it was either lost at sea because all through the pandemic there were reports of the ships being grossly overloaded trying to get product to retailers. And reports were they were losing containers at a record pace. They had lost more containers at sea in the first three months then they had lost the whole year before. So that could have happened or it’s stuck in a port someplace waiting to be processed because of the ports/transportation being short handed . But I can’t believe that Amazon would be that incompetent to take more orders than they inventory that they ordered from Mattel.

From my own interactions their reps don’t speak great English; hope you got that agreement in writing.
