I’d be kinda bummed if they do Bret after I paid eBay prices for him 😂 But my god if mattel would reissue some of the most expensive figs out there (DM Bret, 96 Jake, NWO Macho) it would be great for collectors. but then the value would plummet on the originals! the world would end! |

Mattel won’t straight rerelease these figures because that would piss a lot of collectors off. They might tweak the packaging and a figure a little bit but you’ll definitely be able to tell which figs we’re the original and which were the rerelease. Steve just confirmed they are rereleasing just a few posts before yours.. |

I hope they mean it as another production run of it as series 4 (or whatever series it was). Would be kind of weird to straight re-release them as a “new” series. This is what it’ll be. Just another run as-is of the old wave. It’s not in place of new figures. The previous run was pretty low and there’s was a lot of consumer and retailer interest so we’ll do one last run to fulfill the requests. Plus it’s a great way to get a great Brock out quickly now that he’s available to us again while we continue to work on a modern Brock. Thanks, Steve - Any idea where we would buy them or a timeframe? |

Prices in the long term wouldn’t be that badly effected funny enough. All mattel figs appreciate in value as soon as they’re out of print. As soon as the new batch made it into collectors hands the remaining ones on the aftermarket will always fetch a price |

I’d love this Never had a chance at HBK and the Brock I got from RSC was  ed up with paint issues (leg painted black behind the knee) and nobody fixed that between Ringside and Mattel So I’d definitely get both but I’d hope Brock is updated with a WWE title since the Red Universal is gone |

Yeah this is nice. I waited on HBK for awhile, not forever, but sold out I guess that’s why. I found one on Amazon but got sent a Brock and it was the last one. Brets the other one I never saw. Tons of Shinsuke though so I guess he was just popular pick.

Series 4-6 never got to retail, calling it rereleases of figures from 12 months ago is ridiculous it wouldn’t be any different than the Amazon Hogan getting another production run

Which is fine as I was able to get HBK on Amazon the first time for the $30 retail price, but Brock was always $60 + on Amazon. |
