I hate to be that guy but I’ve been waiting for these figures ever since Mattel got the WWE license and they’re so close to being perfect but there are a number of glaring issues that I want to show here just in case there is any chance of some running changes. Action Figure Attack 1. Bret should have pink knee pads not black. 2. Bulldog should have a red and white split band around his waist not just a white band. 3. The Union Jack is incorrect on Bulldogs tights. The red diagonal bands should be offset. The basic version of this figure was correct. 4. Bulldogs wrist bands are wrong. It was red on the outside and blue on the inside. 5. Bret looks like he has another painted skin torso. I hope that’s not the case because it really ruins his figures. His old elite were far superior in execution. Let’s hope for moulded skin for these two.

The knee pads on Bret are my biggest issue. No reason for them to be black. Hope these get changed just like the 96 Survivor Seres Bret originally had black wrist tape and then changed to pink.

Good lord. The figures are both perfect. Stop crying.

Good lord. The figures are both perfect. Stop crying. Understand the insults. I guess I just know that it’s very unlikely that we get these specific attires again so it’s just a shame that the attention to detail isn’t there, yet a basic figure of the same attire is more accurate. Still super happy to get these figures than to not at all. Not backing down on the painted skin torsos though. They look terrible on any figure. Also, the irony of your comment theman 😂when you got upset with someone for the tone of their ‘crying’ comment just last year.

Good lord. The figures are both perfect. Stop crying. The're close to being perfect but he's right. Bret's knee pads need to be pink. It's such an important attire for him so Mattel should really nail it. It's not only the attire he wore at SummerSlam (my favorite match of all time) but also when we won the WWF Championship for the first time.

Good lord. The figures are both perfect. Stop crying. But they aren’t?! He’s literally pointed out why they aren’t.

Good lord. The figures are both perfect. Stop crying. Perfect? OP pointed out a couple valid flaws so they’re not perfect are they. Plus that Bret head is easily the worst head Mattel has ever released. At least i can put the 2 spare UE heads to use I guess.

Dude, the painted torso is going to stay for Bret moving forward. It does ruin his figures because the skin tones are off and if it scratches there's no fixing it.

Can't tell in the pics for Bulldog, but are the tights fully painted. At Summer Slam 1992, he had some cutouts on the legs of his tights which showed skin.

Agree or not, this is the tactful way to discuss your complaints with Mattel, or any company for that matter. No name calling, no threats, no entitlement. Just details on what you wish would be changed. This board would be a lot friendlier if all issues were discussed like this.

It just bugs me because the scan actually looks great, but that damn forehead ruins it. The chances of Mattel actually fixing this are very low. So now we’re stuck with a head that could of been executed properly.

Don't say anything to diminish the value of these figures for crying out loud. My Buddy's toy shop already has them up for pre-order for three times retail and, dang it, his kids gots to eat!

Here’s the thing, If you don’t wanna know the flaws on figures, quit comparing them to find things wrong to come here and itch about it. Cause I know when these figures are released, you don’t just say “he wore pink knee pads not black; Bulldog had red and white stripe around the waist not just white.” Come on, it you really remember this type of stuff, I feel sorry for you as a person. I mean if you’re gonna collect Mattel figures this is something you’ll just have to deal with it because they’re not going to quit messing figures up.

Seems like the folks "complaining about complaining" are newer members. There have been a number of times where design issues have been addressed before the final product if there's enough noise from collectors.
I don't see an issue with trying to bring it to Steve's attention and see if something can be changed. They can mold pink kneepads just as easily as black ones. Mattel will continue to make mistakes, and other issues are just bad design choices or changes to make budget. But that's no reason to not hold them to a high standard.

Yep, complaining got them to make a fix for UE Kane, that you know they would have never done otherwise.
