I love this crap. Give me more Austin, Goldberg, Rock, Cena, Hogan , Shane McMahon, Ronda, Ric Flair, Lesnar, Bret Hart... Cody Rhodes soon, bring in some other guys from AEW or IMPACT or NWA or ROH or wherever, maybe some more guys from the RA era/Attitude Era... the more the better! That's too similar to Bret's look in 2010. It would also look too much like KO's attire. He has one of the most iconic looks in wrestling history so entering a match without his vest and trunks would be wrong. Hell yeah, I’ll take any of my favorites against the likes of a “Happy Corbin and his minion” and whatever other jobbers WWE has. No offense, but these gimmicks are garbage. I get what you’re saying, but Stone Cold in shorts and T’s is also an iconic look as well. Idk if Austin still looks good in his getup. At least for Austin the whole non wrestling gear works. Yeah man I love all the guys that we grew up on or that our elders grew up watching. Throw in HHH, HBK, Batista, Rey, Orton, Angle, RVD, Edge, Foley, and all the other stars on the list that I mentioned... I’d love to see em around on WWE tv forever. I’d even love to see any remaining guys left from the golden or new generation era. I still love the current guys and new talent of the modern era, reality era , pg era... but nothing beats the good old days! But I will say that WWE has produced some serious talent in the last 5-10-15 years in Roman, Bryan, Punk, Seth, Ambrose, Bray and many more guys who had big potential but still hadn’t had their real time in the main event scene.

Other than it would be "Stunner vs. Stunner" the match makes no sense for anyone.
Austin would ruin his perfect retirement match at Mania 19 to come back simply because WWE is getting beyond desperate for attractions these days.
It would do absolutely nothing for KO, if he wins — hey congrats you beat some 60 year old guy that hast wrestled in 20 years (and also we all know will not lead to a serious push of any kind, therefore ruining the rub from an Austin loss) if he loses — well everyone gets their 10 seconds of nostalgia but we go back to reality after that — Austin goes back to retirement and KO goes back to being a lackey to Seth Rollins.
Its a simple booking decision — KO Show at Mania w/Austin. Have KO run down Texas after weeks of kissing their ass just to lead to Austin beating down KO, finish off with a Stunner, send the crowd home happy.

I love Reigns, Bryan, Ambrose etc… I think their era was the last bit of entertainment that I got. I only watch the product highlights for Rollins, Reigns, Edge, Rey and that’s about it. Everything else is just super cheesy, cookie cutter nonsense with roll up pins every week. I literally had no idea who 90 percent of the guys in the rumble were to the point where now I believe I’ve overstated my welcome watching the product. I think Bron Breakker is cool and I don’t necessarily blame the talent for WWE’s lackluster product, but man there’s no reason to invest in these characters as a consumer. To think that we had the likes of The Undertaker, Stone Cold, The Rock, Sting, Hogan, Goldberg, DDP, Bret, Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle, Scott Hall, Kane, Jeff, Matt etc all around the same time period makes me feel like I took my childhood for granted. These guys were all stars. Now, it’s a special treat to see them perform even as a one-off. Btw, bringing this up makes me wish we could get an all star roster with all these wrestlers in one game.

Yeah Bryan Reigns Rollins have done some good stuff in the last decade. I’m loving Reigns right now & I think Rollins deserves a WWE Title run ASAP, I check out Bryan’s AEW stuff & he’s always killing it whatever he does. The year 2016 was probably the best year in modern WWE history, 2014 & 2015 were good too. There’s a lot of good things going on in AEW, Impact and a few other wrestling companies nowadays. I grew up in the Attitude & RA Eras and those days will never be topped. I’ve always loved the 80s & early 90s stuff as well. The guys you mentioned are a blessing to still have on WWE TV whenever they can show up... whether it’s matches or promos it’s always good to see. Right now there’s a lot of good talent but it sucks how too many guys got fired or left since 2020. That was lots of potential stars right there but there’s still some good amount of talent left. I’ve always loved the jobbers , mid card & upper mid card guys in any era of WWE so it’s always nice to see em shine whenever they can.

If they're going to bring him back, Steve Austin should be wrestling Austin Theory with some kind Vince McMahon involvement.

His neck was way worse during his main event run than it is now. His overall athleticism and conditioning etc are way worse now though, of course. But he should be good for a big-money, big-spectacle brawl if this turns out to be real.

How sad it’s the year 1985 and WWF is bringing in Mr T and Cyndi Lauper and is relying on Bruno, Iron Shiek, Andre and if he was hired Bruiser Brody.

I can’t believe Mr T took a spot on the card away from The Great Gama Knowing Junior, he didn’t think any of the full-timers were a big enough star to team with his golden boy Hogan. Orndorff and Piper are gonna get buried losing to a celebrity who is scared of planes. And Junior’s gonna worry why this WrestleMania thing is a failure and doesn’t take off. Cowboy Bob will probably get the blame for not being a draw.

That’s the concept WWE is banking on. To me it does nothing. It hurts Owens if he loses or gets taken out and does nothing for Steve. Why can’t this be rolled into a current story that would actually elevate a story or guys. If it’s gonna be bland Austin comes out, then Owens challenges him and there it is. Big time Meh. Every store WWE each exist in a vacuum and all seem like a one off. Yes being in a high profile match with STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN in his first match in almost 20 years is really gonna hurt Owens if he loses lmao right And WWE wonders why it can’t create the next big star. Even it’s fans have bought into the a loss won’t hurt him BS.

My interest in the WWE is at an all time low, I just think the current product is not good at all, but adding Steve Austin and Shawn Michales to the show this year is really the only thing that could make me interested in this years WrestleMania. None of the current storylines or characters do anything for me at all. I know that Austin had a great send off and HBK had that horrible match (to be fair, apart from his hair, he wasnt the reason it was so bad) these are the only two "rumors" about this year's Mania that have me interested in any way.

I made a quick edit of current day Austin in his attire because why not. To his credit, he's stayed in pretty good shape since his last match. So if he were to wrestle again, there's no doubt he'd look great again after a couple months of getting back into ring shape, and getting the old tan back on. Yeah idk if he’s gonna come out in a Speedo lmao he’d probably wrestle in denim shorts with a sleeveless shirt Everytime someone sees that think of as if you got stunnered

It’s gonna be Booker T, isn’t it?

It’s gonna be Booker T, isn’t it? Think it’ll be Seth and Owens vs Usos and after the match Booker, HBK, Taker, and then Austin will come out and just spam finishers.
