That is too bad. I understand Native Americans not wanting to be mascots or halloween costumes, but we can't go back in time and take the warbonnet and tomahawk off of Strongbow. This was a politically incorrect but historically accurate figure intended for adult collectors that should have been released.

I'm not sure Mattel is to blame...Target has Strongbow on their app with a picture of some girl. Search for Strongbow wwe and select the out of stock option to see it. Target mixed up the pics, Strongbow is pictured as Reckoning. Yup you're right, thanks for the info |

LOL, man. It does suck that he's not coming out. I wanted to buy it but I won't lose sleep over it. Thankfully he's before my time and while I do like buying old school wrestlers, it's not super essential to my collection.

The only reason I know his name is from Scott Hall quoting him in interviews, "like Chief Jay Strongbow used to say..."
I wanted a few of these: one to display with the Kliq, one to put with the 70s era and one to take the headdress and put on Tatanka

It was dope old school figure, but honestly, I didn’t give a sh*t about Strongbow. I just wanted the feather headdress for Tatanka.
(And maybe try to fudge the head sculpt into a Pacino)

Dear Lord guys, stop. A wrestling figure forum is not the place to have a morality contest. I think it’s 100% fair to criticize Mattel for caving to woke cancel culture while ignoring China’s human rights. If Mattel were to put their money where their mouth is and leave China and manufacture in another country I’d respect them…..But this is just caving to a few people on Twitter that are offended by everything. Why are you still buying figures made in China then? |

Mate “politically incorrect” is a very generous way to describe Strongbow’s gimmick. Racist is the appropriate word. Strange this thing was getting made in the first place. This figure getting made or not does nothing for Strongbow’s historical relevance, he’ll still have existed without this precious historical artifact of a collector’s edition.
