Overwhelming lack of interest in the chief, I guess.  Definite interest here. He's a FTITL figure with awesome accessories (including the dec'd out headdress), and a solid '70s upper midcarder/Hall of Famer. |

tbh I couldn’t really care less about the figure or character but I want to get it for my grandpa since whenever I asked him about wrestling, he would always bring up the same few people and Chief Jay Strongbow was one of them. Figured this would make him pretty happy since it’s a part of his childhood (early adult years ig)

When it hits it’ll be an instant purchase for me because the first match I ever remember watching was the Executioners vs Chief Jay Strongbow and Billy White Wolf in a 2 out of 3 falls match for the tag team championships

I just ran into my first set of Elite 90 at Target in DFW, Texas - no Strongbows. Seems as if he may be in a case by himself.
As a side note, my local Targets basically skipped over the Royal Rumble set and both Elite 88 and 89; they went straight from Legends 13 to Elite 90. I guess I'll never find that Zodiac figure I wanted.

With E90 now dropping (even at some Walmarts it seems; I read a post where an Indiana Walmart got E90), with no Strongbows... this is just ridiculous. I don't want to pay dumb prices for Goon/Strongbow, but that just may be what happens. =( |

Only thing that makes me worry is the lack of comments from Steve about this. Seems like their answer to figures surrounded by questions can sometimes be prolonged periods of silence

A few hit OKC; got one for me and my neighbor. Got my 2nd Warlord (that I converted to the Barbarian) from the Siloam Springs, Arkansas Walmart, when I was passing through there for work. Ever since, I've seen more Warlords pop up with the recent round of E85/E87 shippers that have seem to hit Walmarts, lately. E88 Zodiac, I had to get five between me and out-of-state friends. Found a couple in Tulsa. Found a couple in OKC. 5th came from my friend in Wichita Falls. E88 has been plentiful, especially in Tulsa; not so much in OKC. I miss when RSC had these store exclusives. They made life so much easier. Didn't mind paying the premium for them, since I practically had to pay that just in gas/time to hunt. |
