This was a terrible choice for an ultimate and is basically banking on name recognition alone. Extra articulation doesn't justify the extra cost. Maybe if he came with two or three heads, both titles and a track suit.

Happy about the elbow pads and US Title, but they couldn't even give him a new head? I wish they could have given him hands like these...Maybe we could get them with an Undertaker at some point.  |

I don't think things have ever been as lazy and repetitive as they are now. |

This one is an easy pass for me. A new head or two and I'd probably have upgraded, but there's nothing here I want.

Not sure how to quote my post from the reveal thread. This figure is a huge cash grab. Granted, we didn’t get anything new besides a few hands. Elbow pads, kneepads were asked for a while ago. At the very least Mattel could of bothered to gloss his boots or throw in a new headscan which we’ve been asking for since the release of his DM. I’m going to sell my two other Goldberg’s and just replace it with this one. I would of gladly given up one of the belts for a new headscan though. Are we sure that extra head isn’t new? It doesn’t appear to have the same wrinkles as the overused one. At the very least those eyebrows are painted better. I’m not holding out hope for more, but there could be other accessories not shown yet. Occasionally we get incomplete prototype listings. Not sure on the head. I hope it’s new, but I don’t want to have expectations at this point. If it’s the same two we’ve had before, it’s just sad. Literally, the only upgrade are the elbow pads/kneepads and articulation. When I think Ultimate I think cream of the crop. Hogan, Flair, HHH, Warrior were are all great figures even if some brought at least one reused head. Goldberg literally just wears black trunks, there’s should be no excuses (budget, sub-line etc). A resized US title would of been acceptable. I hope Steve reads our comments, he did say he was trying to get Goldberg to have a tan skintone. Edit: Does anyone have a clear shot of this figure? It’s the only one I don’t see closeups of. |

Who knew that this hobby would devolve into collecting variants, repaints and remodels of the same talent over and over and over. The good news is, if you're not that interested in collecting multiple Reys, Goldbergs, Jakes, Rocks, Austins and Cenas, you should save some big money in 2022.

Alright, so could anyone confirm if the main head is new or the same baboon head we’ve gotten before? I can’t even tell the difference at this point. I would of liked a different head rather than gimmick head with smoke. Smirking, teeth gritting much better options.

Mattel has released plenty of elite Goldberg's and this Ultimate is nothing special. I already have both the Entrance Great and 2 pack Goldberg so I won't need this.
