"PowerTown Wrestling Figures" says it all, no? Actually, I think Powertown could use multiple threads. They will have ultras, remco, one offs ie. major pod, etc. I guess we can wait til more is released before splitting off threads. I personally like this idea. I am sick of seeing the poll every time I click into the link, and it seems outdated. |

Maybe they'll fix the int'l shipping issue -- they really do seem to respond to feedback and care. Or maybe I'm just an optimist  They need different distributors per country like KWK is doing. Or get on Amazon, that would be the best thing. |

So for those that may not be paying attention to the Mattel board, the news came out today that the Ultimate Figure of Randy 'Macho Man' Savage was cancelled by Mattel. One of the recent times that this has happened was with the Legends Sting figure - because he signed with AEW.
Now we do not know why it was cancelled, but one theory is that Mattel no longer has the right to Savage. The Poffo family was one family listed here as part of the Powertown signees, so we could be seeing Randy here in the Powertown lineups.

Still nothing on Wave 2 Yeah, hoping we hear soon, and am kind of surprised we haven't yet. Hoping by the end of this month. Maybe after SDCC excitement dies down. |

Having no announcements or presence during SDCC seems like an out of touch move. If that was their strategy then I really want to hear more about the theory of “not wanting to get lost in the shuffle.” Maybe they’ll do better next year.

See announcing something this week then makes it newer than the Mattel reveals which were on Thursday, and the AEW stuff which was on Saturday. So maybe sometime this week would make a splash in the WFigs world.
At least that is what I am hoping...
