I wish some of the recent Elite figures were in the Legends line Instead of the main line. We havenβt had any of the following in Legends yet: Big Bossman Yokozuna HBK (Singles) Sherri Bret Hart Hulk Hogan Jimmy Hart Earthquake Jim Neidhart If it were me I would only feature flashbacks in the Legends line like the original series. Things are different now and most people didnβt collect the original series because it was so soon after Jakks Classics. As a MOC legends collector itβs frustrating when I have a big boss man in the new blue packaging on the shelf with all the legends boxes. It just doesnβt work so I end up not buying figures that I would have bought in Legends packaging. Action Figure Attack knows MOC collectors well I feel so Iβm surprised they havenβt picked up on this.

Yes it drives me nuts that legends are mixed in with the elite lines and hence have different packaging . Bossman was the biggest miss for me.

Spare a thought for us International collectors, guys... the Legends line isn't available outside the US - and the average cost of buying one in the UK (on ebay or a speciality store) is about Β£40! ($52 USD).
So personally, I'm really pleased to have guys like Boss Man, RVD, Flair, Hogan etc in the main line. And with all the sub-lines (Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Survivor Series, Decade Of Domination, Fan Central, Ruthless Aggression etc.), I don't think you'd ever get the Legends/Flashback figures exclusive to the Legends line (or in Legends packaging).

This line is responsible for some of my favorite figures to be released lately, like Bam Bam, Nash, Edge, DDP, and Vader. On the other hand, thereβs been some pretty bad choices, too. More recently, I think having Hurricane, Bob Orton and a couple others have been a waste.
Overall Iβm really happy with the line, though.

i think both phases have had their positives and negatives.
im 100% happy the line has continued and is thriving. because at least we are getting different versions of popular characters, there wouldnt be enough spots in the regular lines for these figures if the legends line didnt exist. i wish they were at more stores though and then we could have more current roster updates in the regular elite line
as much as i LOVE the WWE's history and all the greats, i feel like we are falling way behind at retail with who's actually currently on TV and trying to become legends themselves

Yeah, even in Canada, it's a pain to get a lot of these.

Itβs my favorite line that Mattel makes. All the complaining are from people who want first time in the lines from Jobbers in the 80s and 90s who arenβt under contract and would sit on pegs. I actually like that we arenβt getting a lot of Hogan, Macho, HBK, Bret

If they were only putting legends out in the legends sets it would take over a decade to get them all out

If it was purely mid-90s and earlier, it might be OK. I feel like even Attitude Era wrestlers are too new for what I think of a Legends line but that could just be me.

In fact, I think the Attitude Era might have been popular enough to warrant their own little corner.

Exactly man you hit the nail on that one. For me it should just be 90s or older. Agree on the thing about the Attitude Era too. I have mixed feelings about that Era but it could be one of the most popular times in wrestling.

Remember that terrible Amazon attitude line. So weak Well do we actually know how it sold? Also it only had Stonecold in jeans and the Rock didn't look that great. Only Jericho was a must have. Chalk that up to poor execution.

Haha, I'm still hoping for a pre-WWF era Dudley Boyz.

Sticking strictly with signed talent, these are all guys who could be released in Legends and even with chase alternates:
Hulk Hogan Red+Yellow, All white chase Shawn Michaels WM11 attire, Rumble 95 chase Razor Ramon Red attire, Green Chase Rick Martel (if available) Pink Attire, Blue chase Ric Flair Purple attire w/ retrofest scan, Black attire chase Honky Tonk Man Red attire, black attire chase Tito Santana (if available) El Matador green, gold chase Mr Perfect (w/new body mold) Yellow attire, Blue w/black Chase 123 Kid Purple 1995 attire, red 1995 attire chase Bret Hart WM8 attire, WM9 attire chase (two shades of pink) Triple H Black/Silver 1999 attire WM15, red/black 1999 attire chase
Add in some of the inevitable women, and some newer guys, and you have a strong line for a couple more years with a headliner in each wave almost.
