This really isn't a wrestling question, but it is about this board. There was a guy on here years ago named Anvil Fan who loved Jim Neidhart and would leave posts on here a lot. Does that guy still exist on this forum and still post on here under a different user name??

I miss the old days. Anvil, Bashcrash, Kev, Juice Winslow, etc.
This place has gone drastically downhill. Hell, I can't even give my opinions in an AEW thread without my posts getting deleted by toxic mods. And I am a massive AEW fan...
I kinda wish I knew of another forum that wasnt as toxic, honestly. Or maybe I need to hang around this section more...doesn't seem to be such a magnet for negativity.

I wish there were more hardcore old school 1980-1990's fan on here. and Kinda wish the old-school board stopped at year 2003.

Yes! You are correct, I do remember that too that he had her in as a picture for his profile.
I just remember enjoying that guy posting on here. I know he got a lot of flak for his love of the Anvil, but we all like who we like!

Man, I remember him. I'm rubbish at remembering names but that one clicked straight away. There's so many of the members I remember from when I joined that aren't here anymore, mostly in the UK board, it seems a lot of the guys have just dipped. It's a shame, but I guess it is what it is.

Rant time.
He was a good user but like a lot of us he was getting warnings for next to nothing from an admin. Thats why I left for a spell too I got completely effed up with it. I used to be the mod of this section and we had a great crew in here.
I used to spend hours trying to think of topics and run tournaments etc but I still enjoy in here I have to say its still my favorite place on the board.
In terms of toxicity? WF was always 100% rotten to the core with it. when I started posting here first in 07/08? I couldnt believe the blatant sh*t that was going on here daily. Ill tell ya this? it was no picnic being Irish here in 2008....

I knew about WF forever I just didnt join back in the day as I was long outta the figure game. I remember getting back into it in 2016 and signing up here. Like JokerFC, this section is by far my fav. Pretty much home for me as far as this board goes.Ton of good dudes who I enjoy interacting with everyday. |

I remember that guy! Just checked my own stats for some reason and can't believe I've been here for 12+ years. 🤯
Most of that activity is here on the Classics board. Nothing gets the creative juices flowing more than a "Rebook Adam Bomb in 1994" thread.

Bash came back a year or two ago under a different name but left again. Marino posts occasionally but he said the constant negativity ruined the board. I kind of agree. Slappy still posts here. |
