Noticed that someone on EBay under the name lbbr65 based in Brooklyn New York has sold 16 Jonah figures from Rush! Coincidence that the owner of Rush is from the same place?
This is outrageous. At first, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. But this guy is legit a scam artist.

think the title of this thread needs to be amended to remove "Potential" now.

I didn't buy from this company, but some suggestions for anyone who did or for any of these other no-name companies that have been popping up. -Always pay with PayPal, ideally linked to a major credit card -If you paid through PayPal, initiate a claim through Paypal. -If they do not resolve your claim or if you didn't pay through PayPal, contact your credit card company, explain that you have not received the goods you ordered, and request a chargeback. Your credit card will most likely be pretty accommodating. They should refund you the full amount of your order. For the dollar amounts and overall volume being discussed here, that's your best option. Maybe a flood of BBB claims will ding his business, but he'll just close this "business" and start under another name. If you want your money back, the options above are your best bet. Unfortunately my credit card company denied my claim because it was past the time period. I even explained to them i couldn't call any earlier because the figures were still being produced but they still said no funny that..... it must be a complete coincidence and unfortunate timing that the manufacturer took over a year (standard term for claiming a refund via a credit card company) from taking payment to producing anything tangible, so refunds would be declined by credit card companies and Rush gets to keep the money they've taken from everyone who paid in good faith.
I mean, it's a complete coincidence and something like this would never have planned from the start

PayPal was not an option through hookedontees or that’s exactly what I would have done

VintageFigs1 -- really hoping your podcast can bring some attention to this. I think it's pretty clear this has gone from someone being in over their head, to engaging in activity to scam people. I know your podcast has to be careful for legal reasons, but he shouldn't be allowed to get away with this.

I called my credit card company again but they still won't do anything because it's past the applicable time limits but they did manage to find a phone number linked to the charge on my account. It's out of San Francisco California and it's 1-415-956-6749. Just figured I'd let everyone know incase anyone wants to call. Probably a dead end at this point though unfortunately

Found this interesting and unfortunate in some aspects. Things do not seem to be looking good.

I don't get Matt would want to kill this company when he was signed to the Rushs ECW line. If he wasnt pointing out how crap the figures were, people would be (rightfully) calling him out on it.

update on the blocks - I've now been blocked by his Monsters account, for asking how long it will be to receive a figure from the date of preorder
given he's now scalping Jonah on ebay and selling off the prototypes, my guess is the Monsters line is dead too

It looks like he will use this to explain the unfulfilled orders -- license was pulled.
I agree with others that combined with this and him selling figs on eBay and protoypes, it's looking very bad for people who paid him...

What a bullcrapresponse from rush. I know I was complaining about the figures before Matt posted anything cause as soon as I received them I saw they were garbage. Matt could have said nothing and the business would still be dead cause us collectors would speak out. On top of that the major guys don't even make retros to be in competition with him.

License being pulled has no bearing on unfulfilled orders unless you mean he didn't produce enough to begin with and now can't make the ones he owes people. Either way all this is his fault
