If Mattel had released their own 6 figure Evolution of Sting boxset like Toybiz but with previously released figures, which ones would you have put in there? You can mix Basics and Elites. I would have
Basic 62 DM Great American Bash 1990 Network Spotlight Basic DM Starrcade 1997 RSC Exclusive Wolfpac Elite 39

Tough to only have 6. I think you pretty much nailed it, but because I hate the Basic 62 figure, I'd have to remove him and start with DM GAB Sting and either add Then Now Forever Bash at the Beach before DM Starrcade 97 or the Flashback Basic with his brown hair and orange boots.

What about Elite Neon sting? I think it was from Beach Blast…forget what Elite set it was. That and the Then, Now, Forever BATB 3 pack? I’m sure he wore that more than once.

I'd go close to what PJ had: DM GAB 90: Network Spotlight Basic or Sting/Taker 2-Pack: Bash at the Beach 1996 Three Pack Cancelled Legends Figure - Early Crow Sting Defining Moments Starrcade 97 Ringside Exclusive NWO Wolfpac Sting

I like the basic Flashback Sting better than the TNF for dark hair Surfer

If you’re doing a 6 pack then I think you need
1. Surfer 2. Dark hair surfer 3. Crow 4. Wolfpac 5. Old Crow 6. Dealer’s Choice

Just for fun, I'd really like to see your Macho Man set... HAHA, you'd have to pick at least two with a neon cowboy hat...

I like the basic Flashback Sting better than the TNF for dark hair Surfer Yeah, that was a good one too. I almost picked that one for my dark hair Surfer Sting choice, but I went with the Bash at the Beach one because it was a bigger moment.

I’ll be honest I wasn’t too happy with how Mattel handled Sting. They weren’t constant and his figures all had odd proportions. Anyways here’s my list. Also, Sting is my favorite wrestler of all time.
-DM Surfer -Elite flash back with white tights -rainbow tights brown haired Sting -DM crow -Wolfpac -Current Hall of Champions
Now if I had it my way -Great American bash surfer Sting -Rainbow tights brown haired Sting -red tights Sting from when he walked out of Nitro -‘96 crow Sting -‘97 Starrcade -‘98 long haired sting with shoulder pad singlet, scorpion on chest and tall boots -Wolfpac -‘99 Sting with white boots medium length hair -‘99 Sting with black glossy boots hair combed back -final Nitro Sting -modern Sting

Nice, I'd go about the same route. If it were 6: DM WrestleMania 3 Macho Man RSC Exclusive Survivor Series 1989 Macho King DM WrestleMania 7 Macho King Ultimate Edition SNME 1992 Macho Man (If the gold was better on E23 WM8 Macho Man, I'd go with that one) Upcoming Legends Ultimate Edition WCW NWO Macho Man TNF Elite WCW 1999 Macho Man

I’ll be honest I wasn’t too happy with how Mattel handled Sting. They weren’t constant and his figures all had odd proportions. I'm actually pleased with the Sting figures we had... the main looks of his career were covered. The only issues I have are the torso choice for the Elite Surfer Stings and the GAB head/likeness... I get what they were going for, but it didn't really work. A GAB Sting with multiple heads and a soft-goods jacket (or swappable arms like the Bret one) would have been awesome.

Yeah, we did get a good amount. My beef would be the parts choices and the looks we got as Basics I wanted as Elites, especially the Network Spotlight orange and blue. Could have had more because he's like Macho Man and Warrior with all the different possibilities, but it could have been worse, too.

I didn’t like the torso choice, or leg choice for his surfer attires. The torso and legs were quite the opposite. He should of had something like the Austin torso and thick Dolph Ziggler legs. Now Crow Sting had a singlet that was too small for his legs. His legs were super stumpy and the boots weren’t accurate to the ones he wore. Sting wore tall boots from ‘96 to ‘98. I also felt like Hawk/Bret arms were more appropriate. They had mass, but weren’t chiseled like Ultimate Warrior.
