Why does this line exist, I do wonder? I mean, surely anything that fits in this line, would not be out of place in the general Legends line? Don't get me wrong, not complaining as I like that international collectors actually stand a chance of getting these, but it seems mattel are making lines, kinda for the sake of it? Nostalgia for one. People really loved the Slaughter packaging. Also people have been begging for more ultimates and this is a way to get more out. And it’s a way to get some less popular guys who normally wouldn’t get an ultimate by packing them with a big star.
All fair points. To be honest, I actually forgot that this series were ultimate articulation, instead of Elite. So for that reason alone, i guess they wouldn't work in the Legends line.

Out of all the lines, I’m most excited for this. I thought the Sarge packaging was the best we’ve seen since OG Legends so I’m glad they’re using this same style for a line. I just hope it works out because a Golden Era series is just what I’m after. Legends has become too mixed with attitude and ruthless for me to be a completist. But with this, I’ll be buying everything they give us. Well done Action Figure Attack 👍 |

I just want Hogan, don't care for Terry. Why they gotta do this line in 2 pack? So they can get the less popular guys out. Funk isn’t gonna sell well on his own but there are people who want him so pack him with a heavy hitter. Probably gonna be the formula for the whole line. |

I imagine shortly after the fiasco with his last figure. Not only do I hope they get it back so they can make more figures, but I also want a Ciampa wearing his robe down the line. |

I’d love to see him in this line though. I had no idea. That is so disappointing, I was hoping there would be a re-release somehow. I don't want to pay the secondary market price and then have it get released again a year later.
I do think this line is a great place for us to get 1980's characters in gear similar to their LJN figures or less popular characters that wouldn't sell on their own paired with Bigger names.

It wouldnt matter to me if they werent in the ljn line previously
But i do feel they need to be from that era
I wouldnt expect to see John cena or eddie guerrero in thr coliseum collection
But say someone like barbarian who i dont believe had a LJN, would be great to see in this line
I would love to see Haku and Hercules in this line
