There's several I'd love to see, but I'm personally hoping for Savage & Steamboat in wave 3...
Still haven't gotten a Savage Ultimate in trunks. And one in pink would be ideal.
We need better Steamboat faces. Especially a younger mullet Steamboat. Plus the claw hand would be perfect for his LJN pose.

With this coming up on Wednesday I was looking into the attires - I can see Rude wore the tights in 1988 but can only see him wearing them with white boots and haven’t seen any footage of the tights with the red robe. It looks like Mattel have given us the Mania 4 pink boots, which feels a weird choice? We have the Mania 4 elite already (E40?? I think?). The Jake, like the Rude gives off Hasbro vibes too but does anyone know when/where he actually wore this attire in the ring? These figures are based on the old LJN figures, so I'm not sure if they're even trying to be ring-accurate to a specific look or anything, just translating the old LJN figures to the Ultimate Edition format, basically. Hmm, this might be right and if so, that’s probably me out of collecting this line. If I can’t display it, not worth the investment. |

I think the Rude is okay. Not the look I'd prefer, but I understand why. Still want it.
But good god, that Jake is museum quality. Might be the last Jake I ever need to buy.

Now I'm really on the fence about Jake - it's so awesome I feel like I need to open it; But that gorgeous packaging makes it something I feel like I should try to get signed... And just so happens Jake's signing on March 18th in Philly..... these aren't going to ship out right away, right? I can't remember how much turnaround time there was on the Hogan/Funk set.... if I were to have this in-hand by 3/18 I'd consider getting it signed. Otherwise I think I'll need to open it..... |

Hulk and Terry went up for order on 11/11 and people got shipping notifications on 11/12 and started receiving their figures on 11/15. Hoping the turnaround is similar for this one. All the figs will be ultimate editions of their ljn counterparts. Literally the package and artwork are all throwbacks to the ljn line. |
