Got my set the other day. The green of Jake's tights looks better in person, but considering the boots are still wrong, I’m going to just keep the maroon Legends one and sell this. It’s a shame, because the snake and torso are much better (and the extra heads are excellent).

I hope that heel Piper from 1985 is next. They should get that done. If it's Warrior or Savage headlining the next line then I think it blurs the lines. Collectors will start to think "is this really an LJN themed line or is it a Hasbro line"? Personally I associate Warrior and Savage with Hasbro. Piper should be next, his ultimate edition is one of the most anticipated reveals of the year. I associate LJN with Piper. Also I think they should put a "first time in the line" in the next series - something that is going to wow people. Captain Lou Albano fits great, but being a manager, maybe it counts him out. Corporal Kirchner/Jesse The Body Ventura. Adrian Adonis would be a perfect fit, with the Ultimate Articulation, it could be one of the best figures of the year I see what you're saying about Warrior for sure, but disagree on Macho. I feel like the Macho LJN is probably the second most iconic/recognizable figure in the whole LJN line just after Hogan. |

I know we just had a Legends Big John Studd, but I also associate his LJN as one of the most iconic figures (and my personal very first wrestling figure!), and would love a set with him and (long hair) Andre The Giant.

I ordered the Jake/Rude set along with the Hogan/Funk set and the Attitude ring last week. The box came, without the Jake/Rude set.
This is the 2nd time I've ordered something from Mattel Creations that ended up not coming.

Or Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy! … if the stars align This is the kind of set I am hoping for, either someone we haven't got in a while, some more mid card LJN guys or someone new. I'm sure that I am in the minority but I don't want Macho, Piper, Andre or Warrior anytime soon. I'd much rather JYD, Bam Bam, Bundy, Studd, Hillbilly Jim, Adrian Adonis, Capt Lou, George Steele, Mr. Fuji, Tito Santana, Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff or Jesse Ventura all before Macho or Warrior. |

I agree, but you’re right, very likely a minority opinion. But that’s the beauty of it being 2 packs, a way to fit in the sought-after deep-cuts in UE to tag along with the “anchor talents.” If these were single packed, and/or retail, we’d only be getting Hulk, Macho, Piper, Warrior, Andre, and Bret.

I know that Steve suggested not wanting to deal with “hypotheticals,” with the CC line still ongoing, but given the first 2 sets are yet to sell out, I am worried it will come to a premature end. So, if/when needed, I’d love to hear some of your thoughts on if you’d be interested in a format change to keep the line alive- a monthly subscription service for random (but all different) CC line single figures each month, same packaging and still UE LJN homage figures. I’d think it could even go higher than the current price per fig, $40-50 each, and work as a sort of crowd-fund, moving forward only after reaching so many subscribers. I think there are enough of us who are “all in” with this line, that this could make sense and even go up to 2 years long at 1 figure per month (that’s my estimate on the number available, based on who we’ve gotten in the past couple years who have LJN figures). Thoughts?

RA was finite from inception. Coliseum Collection will go on as long as we have solid pairings and people keep buying. I still don’t think everyone from the LJN line will be made |

I wouldn’t think Steele or Santana have figure deals anymore. As far as I recall, neither have had figures in years. But I’ll take as many as they offer!
