I wouldn’t think Steele or Santana have figure deals anymore. As far as I recall, neither have had figures in years. But I’ll take as many as they offer! I may be misremembering here, but I'm almost certain that Steele was like Okerlund, Monsoon and Blassie - under a lifetime contract that extended to his estate following his death. |

I'm hoping that in one of the next few sets will be Andre in the blue trunks and boots with a long hair/sideburns head and short hair head (to represent both LJN versions). Throw in the money bag from WM 1 and pair him with a Big John Studd in his heel red/black robe.

Piper and Steele look amazing. I was hoping for some new blood though.
At least with the new Steele buck JYD and Greg the Hammer won’t suffer from anorexic legs like their elites do.

Wow! That Piper is sick! Any ETA news on preorders?? With this coliseum collection they usually do not go to sale until they are in stock at mattel creations. Since Jake and Rude were just released I would assume we would get these around SDCC time- August at the earliest |

I think Mattel topped themselves with that smirking Piper headscan. It's even better than that yelling head from the boxing match 2-pack (seen right next to the smirking head in that pic).

That Piper is superb It really is. That is a fantastic skir... I mean kilt. The only thing that could make this better would be the panther shirt, but this is so good. I was wondering if he ever wore the hotrod shirt without the red parts on the sleeves and collar, but then I found this (image below), so it works. And those two new heads are amazing.  |
