Ok, back on track. Here is my fantasy lineup for the next sets, based on FTIL, updated-wants in UE, and who I simply think would look great in this LJN homage packaging.
4) Demolition
5) OMG / Bigelow
6) Bundy / Studd
7) Macho / Hercules (I know they don’t really match, but clearly that’s not a requirement)
8) Powers of Pain
9) British Bulldogs
10) Hart Foundation
11) Dream Team
12) Sheik / Volkoff
They could keep going and remake all of the old LJNs, and I’d be all-in. But I think after these 12 sets, I’d personally be content. Thoughts?

I haven't collected wrestling figures since I was a kid and getting the LJNs. I bought a few here and there, mainly some of the Jakks Classic Superstars, but the Coliseum Collection has me back. I love the aesthetics of the line. I successfully avoided buying the first two waves until last night, when I read about who was in Wave 3. I was looking at the signed talents in the Checklist thread, and if I'm being honest, there's not a single talent I'd be bummed to see get the Coliseum treatment. I have very little shelf space, but these would look great displayed on the wall in their cards.
That being said, if they do a crowd-funded era appropriate ring/playset, these are getting opened in a heartbeat.

We’re getting an 85 Piper in CC 3
We’re getting a UE Muhammad Ali in his referee gear.
So I’m predicting Mr. Wonderful mania 1 for Coliseum Collection series 4.

I want all of these and more! Keep ‘em coming! Yeah that’s how I feel. I want so many it’s too hard for me to pick who I want in the next set. Yep! If I knew this line wouldn’t stop, I wouldn’t care as much. But I keep worrying it will end before we get to all of the reasonable possibilities. And with only 2 sets per year, it is SO hard being patient! |

I know it’s taboo for MOC collectors, but I’ve been sticking thumb-tacks through the corners to display mine. I don’t ever intend to sell these, and it still looks good, so it doesn’t really bother me. |
