Has anyone said when this set will go up for pre-order? I believe they said fall 2022 at CC.

I think we all appreciate his body of work but he’s rarely in the conversation of top tier GOATs. I respectfully disagree. Same here. There's not many guys in the history of the entire business with the career Funker had. He reinvented himself several times and ticks all of the boxes for GOATs IMO.

You know it’s weird that Funk is not in the WWE HOF individually and it’s rarely even brought up as one of the biggest omissions. I think it’s been said by other wrestlers that Vince never saw Terry as a star. The guy definitely deserves his flowers though. Really was an innovator.

I was just looking at some of the old LJNs. I hope they do Piper,Andre, Beefcake, and a way to get Bundy. I want a MOC Bundy so bad, but really don't wanna pay $200+ for that original legends I was watching the turnbuckle tavern last night and they had Steve and Bill on. They said there will be 2 more release of coliseum 2pks next year after this Hogan/Funk. I am excited for this line.

That era Hart Foundation would be really cheap on the budget. I wonder if they could do a 3 pack and include Jimmy. Yeah, that would be pretty plain, would work better as elites with the silver Tag Titles. Personally, I'd prefer their 1990/91 look, with the Sgt. Pepper jackets, silver shades for Bret, beanie for Anvil, and gold belts. Though, those attires and belts wouldn't fit this line, but they are worthy of Ultimate Edition figures.

They can keep the titles off if it drives the cost up and just give us what we can see in this photo.

Chances are they would do the jackets just like the other 2 UE Bret's, they'd be plastic with removable arms, instead of cloth. So, belts wouldn't be out of the relm of possibility.

Butterfly shoulders and double elbows on Anvil would be great to finally be able to pose him pulling on his goatee.

His legends figure is pretty much unattainable for most, like you mentioned. Plus his LJN figure was really fun...just a huge chunk of rubber lol. He seems to be one of those figures from the line that everyone remembers.

what about guys that never had an LJN, but debuted right around the end of LJN? And going by who have Legends contracts
Earthquake, Dusty Rhodes. This might be it after thinking.
Mr Perfect would fit right in, but I don't believe he's signed anymore.

This line has a lot of potential if they can get guys under contracts

This line looks great but judging by funk these aren't exact ljn replicas. His ljn is totally different but nonetheless I'm very excited for these

Anything to get us some new figures or updates (in the Terry Funk case) of older legends figures. EDIT: I'm also hoping this is a sign of things to come. Hopefully we'll get a Hasbro-inspired line (not retros but elites): so many looks and a few characters Mattel hasn't tackled (yet). Annnnd a Galoob, WCW line: Steiners, El Gigante, Sid Vicious with the black singlet.

Steve indicated in the Q&A video that there would be another era theme to replace the Walmart RA line when it runs its course. I think something Monday Night Wars era would be most likely. Either something that could be combined WWF and WCW, or a WCW or Attitude Era themed set. Hasbro doesn't seem super likely to me, just because they have already made a lot of the Hasbro attires, and they're still making the Retros with the same type of carding. But if they're going to start using Mattel Creations, it opens up a ton of possibilities that might not be a perfect fit for mainstream retail. It's definitely a great time for collectors of all eras.

Ideally for the Hart Foundation, we'd get double chases (like the SST/Headshrinkers) in the Legends line, with WM 2 and 3 attires, and then the jacketed 1990/1 attires as Ultimates.

I have a question about this Hogan&Terry Funk set. Will they be easily be available on Mattel Creations or is it comparable to the SDCC exclusives?
