For me, on day one of launch back in 2010 I picked up Basic 1 Triple H, Cena and Evan Bourne.

My first purchased Mattel figure was "Series 0" / "Signature Series" Jericho in the purple Save_Me attire in January of 2010.
The first ones I actually found were, strangely, the 2nd series of the Basic 2-packs over at Kmart. For some reason they got those before the first series!

E7 Cena and some basic Batista were my first two
I still remember the day I got them, about 11 years ago I guess. My dad bought them for me then we ate out and he let me take my figures with me.
man I miss my dad.

Feb 2010 found elite 1 at Kmart. Grabbed punk. Still have him moc to this day.

The Punk/Macho Man two-pack. I resisted Mattel figures for a couple of years before I saw that was coming out and couldn’t resist. Then literally the next day, I got the Elite All-Stars Punk/Austin two-pack and the WrestleMania Elite Daniel Bryan figure.

Mines was the Elite 4 Kofi Kingston. Awesome figure unfortunately his leg snapped off a few years back (those darn ratchet joints!) anyway I still have it and hopefully to fix it one day.

Basic 1 - Triple H, Kofi Kingston, Big Show, and Batista. Found them in store, November 2009.
Around late January - early February, Elite 1 CM Punk came in the mail.
Then shortly after, i found Edge, MVP, and Undertaker from Elite 1 in store.
Happy to say i still have all of them, and in great condition too. I never really played with them, so they didn't take much, or any damage.

I stopped collecting entirely around 2006, but just couldn’t pass up on the Ultimate Maniacs in 2016 - and now I’ve bought about 30 or so figures since. Nothing crazy, but it reopened the gates a bit.

2014 I was 16. my younger brother bought the WrestleMania 30 Bret Hart, changed his mind and wanted to return it I gave him a 20$ for it and the rest is history

Series 1 HHH and Big Show. My TRU had them out like 2 weeks before Christmas in 2009 so I was able to get them earlier than others.
That Big Show is still one of the best figs they've ever made.

Elite 1 Edge! I still remember seeing the whole wave at Target. Being a huge fan of Jakks DA line, the first thing I noticed was the size difference and difficulty in intermixing both with play. Years later my Mattel collection Dwarfs my old Jakks one and is continuing to grow every month it seems. Those were the days
Plus those Elite 1 coats were BRUTAL!
