I was late to the game and didn't start until early 2016. Bought Sycho Sid E39 in-store & ordered Texas Tornado KVE the same day.

I found the basics series 1 the week before 1/1/10. That weekend everything dropped and I picked up Big Show with 1/500 belt, and a handful of other basics and 2 packs, the only one I remember was Miz and Morrison.

No idea. I got a sudden urge to start collecting again in 2012 after seeing what Mattel had done with the line. Thought the figures looked great. Popped over to Target to see what they had and ended up getting a bunch of basics and an Elite Ziggler. It was all down hill from there.

Elite 29 Andre and Elite 30 Hawk and Animal got me hooked. I ordered those 3, plus Elite 28 Crush and The Exclusive Rated R Edge as my first RC order.

I think it was Retrofest Ric Flair? I bought a lot of figs that day on a hunt.

Probably Legends series 1 Road Warriors at Kmart … I remember being over the moon when I seen them in the store, getting Nwa version Warriors was a major want of mine … I very reluctantly sold them in a hard spot though but have since rebought both Moc to never let go of again

I think it was Undertaker and Austin WM Heritage figs right at the beginning, but I wasn't really ready to move on from Jakks Classic Superstars yet.
I did buy the Ringside nwo Macho Man, the Ringside Macho King and 1st DM Warrior too, but then didn't buy anymore for about 5 or 6 years until I got back into collecting again.

I stopped collecting when Mattel took over. I was in my 20s and was done with wrestling figures, and wasn't gonna start collecting a whole new 'style' of figure. Throwing money into that nonsense. .. then I seen Elite 19 Kane. Now I'm down thousands of Euro pretty much stocking up my attic with cardboard boxes. Similar story to me. I'm also an attic collector too.

I was one of those people that claimed to quit collecting when Jakks lost the license. However, the Defining Moments WM7 Savage got me to buy. It was my only Mattel figure until I went all in again in 2016.

I don’t know what series it was but I remember when WWE went from Jakks to Mattel I was upset because I loved the Ruthless aggression line and didn’t like the look of Mattel but i stopped playing with/collecting around 2006 but I remember back in I think 2010 getting an elite Sheamus figure that came with a pipe and the WWE spinner title. I only got it for the title belt at the time but when I started to get back into collecting a little here and there my wife got me a couple basic Punks and D-Brys. Man I wish I collected/bought a lot of things I passed on over the years 🤦🏻♂️

It was my only Mattel figure until I went all in again in 2016. I got the Sheik fig in 2010 even though I was long outta collecting. Looked great so couldnt pass it up at the time. Like you 2016 was the year I was pulled back into the hobby

My first mattel figs I purchased in 2014 when I stumbled upon RSC. I had debated starting a WWE collection and was currently collecting TMNT. I stopped TMNT and made my first purchase from RSC from their loose figures page. Later I learned that these were loose because the warehouse semi flooded and some packagings had been wet. Even later than that I leatned for the rockers and NWO macho, it was a hell of a deal. $62.37 shipped.
