Re-releases are also not helping. We saw complete remakes of several of the top secondary market figures. Mattel is purposely trying to capitalize on trends set by the secondary market however without a thriving secondary market it seems like figures simply aren’t selling and more and more collectors are leaving due to finances or the collectors were temporary due to covid..

And I my gut tells me that these exclusives like NHB and the Ultimates that came with the new gen arena will get re-released if money is to be made by Mattel. It sucks because I rather them not being re-released again and knowing that some figures that I own have increased in value overtime. Jakks did this well with not re-releasing the exact same figures.

I think it's a slap in the face for those who spent the extra money or tried hard to get those exclusives. Part of it is the exclusivity.

Very true that's why if we see any exclusives from the past and future those exclusives will probably be re-released as long as Mattel still has the rights to that particular talent.

It looks like garbage now. They should, and they will, rerelease things and make them better
