WCW although this turned out to be an absolute disaster of a ppv.

It’s WWF for me.
I’m probably in the minority but I really liked Los Boricus. Stone Cold was really on a roll here and his match against the rising star the Rock is greatly appealing. The WWF seemed heavily invested in Shamrock. And Triple H was rising.
Eddie v Malenko and Raven v Benoit are the only matches that interest me on WCW. Unfortunately, even without knowing the result it seemed too predictable to me that WCW would try to protect Hogan in a situation that should have been the start of the fight back of WCW

I'll have to go with WWF here.

November was WWF for Austins revenge & HBK vs Bret. I was hyped for it.
December was WCW hands down. We all wanted to see Sting vs Hogan.
So interesting...for years everyone blamed Hogan. Stings recent revelations left me gaping. Tremendous respect to Bischoff for not talking about it on his pod until Sting said it first.

That Sting write up is incredible. Thanks for posting. sheds an entirely new light on Starrcade 1997 & his crap 98. As Ive said before? props to Bischoff for never speaking on it until Sting did. the Sting 1998 episode of 83 weeks is required listening.

This one is tough. For being WCWs biggest show of the year, the card isn’t very good. IYH DX doesn’t really have anything memorable other than HBKs attire.
I’ll vote for WCW in December for the Sting Hogan build alone.

I’ve been following this topic since the beginning, but I’m only starting to post now because December 1997 was the first time I watched both.
Given the hype alone I would pick WCW. Sting/Hogan was promoted as the biggest match of all time, that alone would give Starrcade the buy.

You didn't have to watch any of these ppv's to play.
Pretend you never saw each ppv, you see the cards I posted and you decide if you had to choose WHICH ONE YOU WOULD CHOOSE TO WATCH

I know the rules, I didn’t start watching WWF until mid-1997 and started sparingly watching WCW during the buildup to Starrcade. I didn’t feel right voting on shows I haven’t seen from before I started watching.
