I’ll go with WCW for the slimmest of margins, really because of the Macho/DDP blowout and Rey vs Eddie. Almost voted wwe due to age in the cage but the WCW undercard was good.

WWF. I was starting to get more interested in the WWF at this time. I actually ordered the Survivor Series PPV, but not the WW3 PPV.

No contest. WWF.
But it was at this point my interest in wrestling started to decline. This was the last event I bought on VHS that I was actually excited to watch when I got home.

WCW for me here. WCW had the following that interests me: - Yuji Nagata vs Último Dragón
- Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Misterio, Jr.
- Curt Hennig vs Ric Flair
WWF (for me) only had Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart. As much of a highly anticipated match and feud as Hart vs insert name here is for me, I can't justify getting a PPV where I am basically waiting for just the main event and WCW also had some other stuff that would've at least been fun to half pay attention to the rest of the time.

WWF hands down!
Not only do we get HBK vs. Bret - which ended up being a greater more important match than anyone thought it would be - we also had Austin vs. Owen, Kane's PPV debut match against Mankind, and we get four elimination style survivor series matches!
So WWF wins this one, hands down!

WWF. Survivor Series has always been my second favourite event. Love the elimination concept.
Was a big fan of the truth commission at the time. Bret v Shawn was shaping up to be a scorcher. After Summerslam was interested to see how Austin v Owen would turn out. Kane was developing as a character and feeding him Mankind was probably the best thing WWF could have done with hi: at that time.
Only two matches really appeal to me on the WCW card and I’ve always found the three ring battle royal a bit of a mess.

WCW. The only match I had any interest in for SS was Bret vs HBK.

WWF Survivor Series for me. This is the birth of the greatest heel character in wrestling history. Mr. McMahon.

This is way harder to call than you would think!
On the WCW side, I was so excited to see what Bret Hart was going to do at this event, plus we had Hogan taking on Sting. On the WWF side, I thought Ken Shamrock was so badass and was very interested to see his match with Shawn Michaels. Not only that, Austin and Rock were killin it in the lead up to their match. Plus, I was still a huge LOD fan at this time and I was very excited to see them taking on the Outlaws for the tag titles.
Hmm, this is the closest one of these I have had to do yet, but I am giving it to WCW
Sting taking on Hogan was huge, but it was the draw of seeing Bret Hart that truly had me hooked. Although I am still mad that they brought him in as a referee! I get that they were all in on Sting vs the NWO and in hindsight, I think that WCW may have been better to get Sting vs Hogan out of the way and then introduce Bret Hart, but at the same time I get why they wanted to get Bret Hart on TV as soon as possible.
So yeah, I was into both of these shows, but WCW is getting my vote, but only just.

WCW matches that interest me: - Eddie Guerrero vs Dean Malenko
- Diamond Dallas Page vs Curt Hennig
- Kevin Nash vs The Giant
- Sting vs Hollywood Hogan
WWF matches that interest me: - Taka Michinoku vs Brian Christopher
- Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Rock
- Ken Shamrock vs Shawn Michaels
I have to go WCW as it has Sting vs Hogan and a more interesting (to me) undercard.

WCW. Sting/Hogan was the match they had been building to for over a year, so getting the match was great (shame it ended the way it did). Plus, the addition of Bret Hart kind of made things a little more exciting.
