At the risk of stirring the pot.... Can anyone explain to me why we need a Jeff Jarrett figure so bad? I've never understood the appeal of this guy.... he’s kinda one of the higher level guys in terms of missing from Mattel that actually could be made Of all the WCW champions, only Chris Benoit, Vince Russo, David Arquette, Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett are missing. Steiner is closer than ever and the others most likely aren’t happening. He’s also just been around for like 30 years so he’s a recognizable name with a flashy outfit/character and nostalgia to when most people here were kids. He’s nostalgic for me and I grew up watching him in TNA then there’s people here who are 35-40 and grew up watching him in the WWF or WCW I honestly forgot he was WCW Champion..... LOL, shows how much I dislike 'ol Double J. Okay, his WCW Championship reign is a valid point! He's just not my cup 'o tea..... I'm trying to understand the hype over this. Thanks for the good points! |

I mean he's a 14x World Champion across the globe, 22x Tag Champion & 9x US/IC champion. 2x Hall of Famer....His "Aint I great" and "Listen up Slap nuts" sayings were pretty popular back in the days. I dont have him as a "Top 10" guy but he's Definitely up there in some all time lists. |

There’s plenty of other questions he doesn’t answer either. Maybe he doesn’t have confirmation or maybe even isn’t allowed to say. Don’t say he “could just say that” because while he could if that was the case, he’s under no obligation to do so. |

Cardona usually provides accurate information and sometimes leaks it when he wasn’t supposed to. Based on that, sadly, I think this is true. Had the new come from anyone but him or a persona at mattel, I’d still be holding onto hope.

Global Force Wrestling was a disaster..... I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting.... His contributions..... TNA Wrestling, I guess.... SlapNutz..... and "With My Baby Tonight"....... I say "eh" He surely doesn't crack my "Top 10" either..... and I doubt he cracks my Top 50! |

I don’t understand why he gets such a bad rap for negotiating a big pay day when Vince was stupid enough to have the belt on him and booked a match to drop it the day after his contract expired. Who in that scenario isn’t going to try to get most out of it? Why aren’t we celebrating that someone got one over on Vince instead of somehow sympathizing with an a**hole billionaire promoter who has screwed over talent countless number of times? |

Bruce & Jeff we’re both employed as office / Manger positions in WWE. We would have gotten Brother Love by now if that’s all it took to get a figure made. Since we’ve gotten no Brother Love it’s pretty safe to assume Bruce has no legends deal and pretty safe to assume Jeff signed one.
Working for WWE and having a legends deal are 2 separate contracts. I think we get it.

As far as what makes him special? I was never a huge fan. Growing up in Louisville I saw his career early on in CWA/USWA and wasn’t impressed. That first impression carried on everywhere he went. I thought he was a decent mid-carder but not a top guy. That being said, he does have some very toyetic attire. That ultimate would look great on a shelf. And he was a staple throughout the Monday Night Wars jumping back and forth from WWF to WCW more times than anyone else. He’s definitely a big missing piece from that era.

not mad if he's not. give me a HBK IYH Bad Blood or DX and I'll be Gucci. I'd be okay with this. Though my top want for HBK would be his white and gold look from IYH 2 vs. Jeff Jarrett. They already have all the pieces for it (hat, jacket, chaps, IC title, HBK Ultimate Edition parts), so it would be an easy repaint. |

They would make all of those guys if they could. JJ was the only backstage worker that is getting a figure so he has to be under a deal. |
