Yup. Roman Reigns is the reason we don’t have Norman Smiley figs. i dont know how many times this has to be said, JUST BECAUSE A LEGEND/FORMER WRESTLER works backstage, does NOT MEAN they are automatically going to get a figure made. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS. AS SAID AND REPEATED A NUMBER OF TIMES BY MATTEL I know sarcasm can sometimes be hard to pick up on when written but pretty sure my response was pretty obvious. |

How does Zack Ryder know? And Mattel didn’t comment on Fiend and he came out. They didn’t comment on Flair and he came out. They didn’t comment on Cole and he came out. Silence doesn’t mean anything. Idk if he knows or not, but what I do know is he’s friends with those mattel people, I rarely doubt he would go out of his way to make a false statement on something he doesn’t know about. I mean don’t get mad at me because you don’t like what was said, if you want to have false hope I mean more power to you. But it is what it is. The man is avoiding the questions for a reason, same as he did with RVD and Strongbow, if it was still being made he would say like he has every other time that something is still on schedule. So you’re saying that someone from Mattel told Zack Ryder in confidence that the figure wasn’t coming out and he was that big of a self centered a••hole to betray that confidence and leak that info and potentially jeopardize their employment? Or could it be that he knows as much as we do and is just speculating? |

not mad if he's not. give me a HBK IYH Bad Blood or DX and I'll be Gucci. I'd be okay with this. Though my top want for HBK would be his white and gold look from IYH 2 vs. Jeff Jarrett. They already have all the pieces for it (hat, jacket, chaps, IC title, HBK Ultimate Edition parts), so it would be an easy repaint. oooooooh yeeeeeeeeaaaaah |

Matt Cardona has said on his Facebook page/podcast the Jeff Jarrett figure is cancelled. The mattel dude on here avoiding every question about it should tell you it isn’t happening. find it weird a ultimate spot was even being wasted on jarrett in the first place. i recognize his tna character because he was a strong heel more than what he was in the wwf as a mid card talent. it sucks for the people that want his figure but they shouldve just announced an elite. so kind of rooting for it to be cancelled for that ultimate spot to reopen

If it is indeed canceled, people thinking we’re getting a brand new figure in that spot are delusional. What will likely happen is that they just re-release Becky 2 Belts or Charlotte or AE HHH or Halloween Havoc Warrior. Or move a figure up that was supposed to come out after.

Just to play devil's advocate, E92 Adam Cole, Ric Flair, and Burnt Fiend all came out and Mattel did not breathe a word. But, usually if Matt Cardona says something... he has some cred. I dunno. At this point, I'll be insanely happy if UEJJ comes out. If not, well, I didn't have it before, no sense getting upset--nothing has changed.

Or someone from Mattel can't put anything out there on record, even in an "unofficial" capacity, so they get the news out through an intermediary. I have zero clue if JJ is coming out or what the case is in this particular situation, but there have defining been instances in the past where the MWFP has been given information like that with the purpose of putting it out. |

I love Steve Corino. I'll never get tired of people campaigning for him. I think Jazwares is going to end up doing more-and-more ROH Luminaries. So I'm guessing we'll have to see Steve go over there to ever get another figure of him made. Which is really unfortunate because a 00-01 ECW World Champ Corino is really high on my wants/dream list. Any 97-01 Kidman is on that list too. Kills me when WWE has access to these guys, who could sign a Legends deal because they have a full time job and aren't going to attempt to make outside money, and we don't have figures of them. At least we got Malenko.

I think what gets me upset is that he was signed to WWE for a while, but had legal issues with his name and then when we finally got to close to getting one he leaves. Talk about luck. I wonder if Bill has some of these unreleased figures somewhere in his collection.
