The Strongbow figure still irritates me. Mattel is such a coward company……This was an actor / wrestler playing a character on a tv show 50 years ago. Someone should ask Mattel why Yokozuna is ok but Strongbow isn’t? And WE BETTER GET DOUBLE J!!!! When RVD was cancelled and people were having meltdowns, one of the things they said was "well if they won't make that RVD, why are they making an Italian guy that dressed up as a native American?" People also brought up Yoko and Razor. Then, they cancelled Strongbow and people got pissed about that too. Im not sure if board comments here played a part in Strongbow getting cancelled, but it's prob best to just let it be and stop pointing out other people in similar situations that they might stop making. If I recall correctly, at least one particular member here played a part in not only Strongbow, but RVD being cancelled as well. At least one that was the most vocal. |

It’s 100% ridiculous of AFA not to confirm one way or the other. The figure was announced as its coming….So either it still is or it isn’t but they know…..No way after 2 months of JJ leaving the company that Mattel doesn’t know weather the figure is a yes or no.

As much as I want to know if it’s coming or not, it might be similar to fiend and hardy. No promotion ahead of time. I know he chimed in on both of those (clarifying their attires) but who knows. Still hopefully he has a legends deal. |

If I remember correctly, it wasn't just a criticism of the figure. I'm pretty sure Lorenzo insulted him personally and said that Bill made no effort whatsoever. And then he bought the figure anyways. |
