Ordered SDCC Ken and Chun-Li. Same here. Twenty bucks for shipping and seven bucks for tax brought my total to $102 for one of each. A bit pricey but I'm all in on these, and I havent bought an action figure in over three months, so it's all good. |

I've gotta get on the horse again. I've mentioned I've put my collecting on hold till the Violent Ken and Pink Chun-Li, but now that they've shown the whole roster, I need to get caught up.
I'm down for repaints, too. Paul's about to get an order for that grey Ryu.

Just showed Akuma, looks awesome. I knew it was coming but I was still very shocked. I have been itching for this moment since last year and I am happy yet surprised they actually did the red aura effect (which I predicted for a Shin Akuma exclusive) for the standard figure. Good thing I only need to wrap up series 2 rn. |

This looks awesome, but as an old school fan, Player 2 Ken is purple/violet, so I'm not as excited as I would be if it were that instead, especially because this just looks like putting a Ken head on a Ryu body, which I could do myself haha I love that it has two heads and at that price point, though. I'll be ordering this. |

Eric I love that version of Ken because that is the color I choose for him in Marvel vs Capcom 2. Being an EE exclusive sucks though so I would only buy it if I came across it at a comic-con or an overseas toy store.

While not the color you're referring to (Hyper Fighting aka Turbo) I'm surprised this wasn't a dark blue variant (Champion Edition) to fit in with the other released color variants thus far. It's interesting that they decided to add-in an extra accessory this time around too. Imo they could/ should have either replaced the red fireball with a blue one to make both accessories unique from the standard release or just replace the fireball accessory altogether for the shoryuken effect. If I wasn't keeping mine MOC, I would probably swap the fireballs between this figure and the Paulmartstore Ryu. |

I never got to play MvC2, but I know white is a color option in one/some of the many SF games I've played/have. He looks great in white, no doubt. This figure looks as good as any in the line. My brothers and I had a Super Nintendo, so Champion Edition got skipped haha I think even in SFII on SNES with the code to get the Player 2 colors, they used purple for Ken. Champion Edition color would be more appropriate for the reason you pointed out. And I agree on the fireball accessory and getting the shoryuken effect. For me red fireball says Ryu, and blue (regular) fireball says Ken. But doing it this way allows us options for both Ken and Ryu since Ryu has the blue. I'll be swapping them since I open these figures. |

Eric It was still that greyish dark blue color on the SNES version when using the championship mode cheat. But yeah, only Ryu had the red fireball in the game. Initially I was suggesting the removal of the fireball for the shoryuken effect in an effort to bring the cost down, but seeing as the Paulmartstore Ryu costs more without any extra content, this is still a better deal. Honestly I would want all the color variants for Champion Edition and Hyper Fighting if possible. I would say the Super Turbo defaults too, but I know some of them are kinda samey (Chun-Li, Zangief, and Balrog in particular)

It was expensive enough buying the SDCC figs and regular Ken, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, and Bison from Amazon to get caught up, so I was waiting on white gi Ken. Mistake there apparently 😄😠|

I got all my Jada figs this week, so I have everything except the Paul Ryu exclusive. This is mu favorite line right now by far.
I put the P1 Ken head on the P1 Ryu body, and the skintones are close enough that if I can't get a Ken with white gi from EE, I feel okay making a custom with P1 Ryu and P1 Ken figs and a little paint. But I hope they get some in stock and I can snag one because their release would be superior.
