DX went down hill fast post-HBK. Yeah, they had the juvenile-humor with him, but HBK gave the group a level of legitimacy that it lost as soon as Wrestlemania 14 ended. Anything 2006 and forward with DX is pure crap.
Bulldog was a solid midcarder, but I never understood why some fans think he should have been a world champ. Name a match he had outside of Bret, Owen, or HBK that is considered a classic. I’ll wait.
TNA was a better overall show than the WWE 2006-2009.
Christian is a better all-around performer than Edge.
Brock was the right person to break the streak. It’s not his fault Vince wasted the rub trying to get Roman over as a face.
Seth Rollins is a solid midcarder. Bad promo, above average in the ring but not as great as AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Kenny Omega, ect…never got the appeal with him.
Jeff Jarrett is one of the greatest heels of our generation, and deserved the world titles he won in WCW and TNA. Jarrett was one of the few reasons to watch WCW in 2000.
nWo Elite was a solid idea. The problem was how they got there with the past 8 months thrown down the drain and the follow-up. Building properly to Hogan/Goldberg 2 would have been huge.
Kevin Nash wasn’t lazy. I just watched a few PPVs from 1998 and 1999 and the guy was still working 10+ minute matches (long time for a 7-footer), and there’s no denying he always had the crowd eating out of his hands.
WCW production values are still better than the WWE today.
I’ll watch WCW 1999-2001 over most years WWE 2006-present.

Cornette is a genius in that if he booked a promotion, it would be really good. He’s also brilliant on the mic. But everything he hates is also good.
So that might tick off Cornette fans and haters.

You’re not lying. Cornette is hated by many these days and imo it’s just because most wrestling fans can’t properly deal with someone making fun of their favorites. They take it very personal. Jim is one of the most intelligent wrestling minds ever and he’s usually pretty damn accurate with his modern wrestling takes.

Mick Foley was Austin’s, Rock’s and Triple He’s best opponent as far as ring work goes.

The Legion of Doom were just two lads with big egos and not much talent.

Mike Awesome was WCWs biggest missed opportunity.

I wouldn’t really consider cornette’s time in ROH or running SMW examples of really good booking. so not sure on this one.

See I loved his ROH I think he booked Kevin Steen really well under his book, Davey Richards is probably in my top 20 performers of all time, loved the wolves, I loved Redragon. I know it wasn’t for everyone but if I were to list time periods of promotions that I was really into his ROH run would be in there.

I like all the talent you mentioned too, but I found Cornette’s booking to be formulaic on a surface level. but that’s just my take.

All of the Undertaker's Wrestlemania matches after Wrestlemania 27 felt completely meaningless because he was never on TV to help build those matches.

The “heroes” we “idolised” growing up are actually POS is real life. Long as they ain't pedophiles/pulled a Benoit I honestly don't care about this new trend of fan's(95% of them being internet fan's)caring so much about their personal life.

Stardust was a fun character. I was taking break during this period but when I watch some of stardust matches (WM32 ladder match) - I totally get the appeal of him I like it
